En la conferencia se hace referencia a la termodinámica, según el expositor hay dos leyes

importantes; la primera, referente a que la cantidad de energía en el universo es constante y la
segunda que el desorden del universo o entropía aumentan. La primera se refiere a que no existe
cambio en la cantidad de energía y la segunda en cuanto al desorden se refiere a que todo lo que
hacemos trae consecuencias y aumenta dicho desorden; el expositor se enfoca en este punto y
nos dice que el hecho de usar un recurso energético implica que ese recurso disminuye y es la
entrada a una crisis, sin embargo el cambio es la dirección natural, por ello la materia y la energía
tienden a dispersarse y sin importar que cosas sean todas tienden a caer en el desorden y es la
fuente de todo cambio. Se destaca que ese desorden local puede convertirse en orden y aunque
exista orden local globalmente puede haber desorden, es el mensaje de la segunda ley. Lo anterior
porque el mundo es una red interconectada, se piensa en el efecto del sol sobre los organismos e
incluso en lo que pasa en nuestro sistema digestivo lo que puede llevar a grandes pensamientos
incluso la creación de música. Por lo tanto, no hay nada que no se pueda explicar a través de la
segunda ley de la termodinámica es decir que el mundo se está desarrollando y se está volviendo
más caótico y esto se puede entender como la selección natural. Finalmente, a pesar de la
complejidad de las ideas que tenemos cuando se mira al centro de todos los procesos que nos
rodean encontramos la mayor simplicidad por lo cual se puede resumir que la materia y la energía
simplemente colapsan en el desorden y estos son vinculados al ecosistema que habitamos.

In the conference reference is made to thermodynamics, according to the speaker there are two
important laws; the first, referring to the fact that the amount of energy in the universe is constant
and the second, that the disorder of the universe or entropy increases. The first refers to the fact
that there is no change in the amount of energy and the second in terms of disorder refers to the
fact that everything we do brings consequences and increases said disorder; the speaker focuses
on this point and tells us that the fact of using an energy resource implies that this resource
decreases and is the entrance to a crisis, however change is the natural direction, therefore matter
and energy tend to disperse and no matter what things are all predisposed to fall into disorder and
is the source of all change. It is highlighted that this local disorder can become order and although
there is a local order globally there can be disorder, it is the message of the second law. This is
because the world is an interconnected network, we think about the effect of the sun on
organisms and even about what happens in our digestive system, which can lead to great
thoughts, including the creation of music. Therefore, there is nothing that cannot be explained
through the second law of thermodynamics, that is, the world is developing and becoming more
chaotic, and this can be understood as natural selection. Finally, despite the complexity of the
ideas that we have when we look at the center of all the processes that surround us, we find the
greatest simplicity, for which it can be summarized that matter and energy simply collapse into
disorder and these are linked to the ecosystem we inhabit.
