Introducción

En el presente listado se consideran artículos que pueden considerarse confiables y de alta

calidad, que podrían contribuir al desarrollo de la tesis que versaría sobre las emociones y el
aprendizaje de una lengua extranjera en la perspectiva de la psicología positiva, aunque dicha
calidad varía de acuerdo al tipo de revista o journal en la cual se publica, con base en diversos
criterios, entre los que destacan el factor de impacto o JCR -Journal Citation Reports- así como el
cuartil que de acuerdo con lo que menciona Aristizábal (N.D.) cada cuartil refleja el rango -ranking-
de la revista, siendo los primeros dos los más altos y los últimos dos los menos. De igual manera
indica si la fuente fue obtenida de una de las dos principales bases de datos que concentran la
mayoría de la producción científica, ya sea Web of Science o Scopus.

Conclusiones

A partir de este trabajo, pude aprender la importancia que tiene la organización de la producción
científica y que ésta se encuentre debidamente arbitrada por sitios que además ofrecen una
variedad de criterios rigurosos para determinar la calidad, el impacto y la reputación de la revista,
así como de los autores que allí publican.

Puede observarse que la gran mayoría de las fuentes encontradas se ubican en los dos primeros
cuartiles, por lo que además de formar parte de las bases de datos más empleadas y difundidas
globalmente, son artículos publicados en revistas de gran prestigio en su área de conocimiento.

Es importante mencionar, sin embargo que hay una fuente (De Costa, 2018) publicada en el
Chinese Journal of Applied Linguistics cuyos datos no pude conseguir ni en WoS ni en Scopus,
mas decidí incluirla en este listado preliminar e investigar un poco más al respecto, dado que los
autores sí cuentan con reputación en el tema así como con las credenciales, al igual que el artículo
que tiene los datos mínimos para considerarse de calidad.
