FRAMEWORK FOR AN EXCHANGE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE UNIVERISITY OF

UTTOXTER AND THE UNIVERSITY OF VETUSTA

IN ATTENDANCE

Representing the University of Uttoxter, the Vice Chancellor, Dr. Bryan Faucett,
Representing the University of Vetusta, the Rector, Dr. Pedro Gálvez Moreno,

THE PROPOSAL:
1. Within the current context of international relations, it is appropriate that partner
Universities and Institutions should develop broad-based cultural contacts between
teachers and students of different countries.
2. The contribution and exchange of teaching and learning experiences constitutes an
essential aspect of University life and the work of the educational community.
3. Firm agreements should be made which translate these general principles into practical,
effective measures that facilitate the aforementioned contacts.
4. The responsibility of the institutions with respect to the exchange students will be strictly
limited to the educational sphere, within the context of the current agreement.
5. The current agreement will be valid for one year, after which it may be renewed
automatically for periods of one year, except by means of a notice termination,
presented by either party given three months in advance of the date of expiry of the
agreement. In such circumstances, both parties will agree on the terms by which the
agreement is to be terminated. Without any further claim, obligation or compensation
being admissible, beyond that agreed.
Acknowledging the above points, the University of Uttoxeter and Vetusta wish to
establish a permanent, stable framework for relations in whatever areas may be or
reciprocal interest and to promote the necessary mechanisms for exchange in the
educational field.
As a result, both parties resolve to establish the current agreement.
