CALIBRATING AN INSTRUMENT, SUCH AS A PANEL METER OR TEMPERATURE
CONTROLLER, IT IS NECESSARY TO INPUT A PRECISE KNOWN ELECTRICAL SIGNAL. THE
INSTRUMENTS DISPLAY OR OUTPUT VALUE CAN THEN, BE ADJUSTED TO MATCH THE
IMPUT SIGNAL. A SIGNAL REFERENCE IS USED TO GENERATE THE PRECISION SIGNAL.
SIGNALS REFERENCES SHOULD BE AVAILABLE TO GIVE VOLTAGE REFERENCES,
CURRENTS REFERENCES AND FREQUENCY REFERENCES. WHEN WORKING WITH AN

we will use a special signal reference called a simulator that will give us more precision

Este texto habla de la calibracion de instrumentos con señales de entrada del tipo electrico,
trabajaremos con referencias de voltaje de corriente y de frecuencia sin embargo si tenemos un
instrumento que lee un sensor utilizaremos una referencia de señal especial llamada simulador que
nos dara mas precision

Con el texto disponible aprendi que debemos estar atentos a los tipos de señales que reciben los
instrumentos para asi realizar una correcta medicion de valores de salida con respecto a las
referencias de señal y asi conseguir precision, encontraremos que hay casos donde utilizaremos
mas herramientas para mas precision

An instrument that reads a sensor such as a "thermocouple" uses a special type of reference signal,
this instrument is called a simulator and can accurately reproduce the output signals of the sensor

Un instrumento que lee un sensor como un “termopar” se utiliza un tipo especial de señal de
referencia, este instrumento se llama simulador y puede reproducir con precisión las señal de salida
del sensor
