Verb to be(AM, IS, ARE)

ING= ANDO, ENDO

I AM WORKING RIGHT NOW

Como regla general, simplemente tienes que agregar el gerundio ING (ando, endo) al
final del verbo en infinitivo. Observa estos
ejemplos: work > working; play > playing; open > opening.

Sin embargo hay algunas reglas:

1. Si el infinitivo del verbo termina en consonant + vowel + consonant y una sílaba
acentuada, tienes que duplicar la consonante final. Observa: stop > stopping; . RUN=
RUNNING
Una excepcion:
(a) Si entre ambas consonantes o antes de una consonante final existen dos vocales,
entonces la consonante no se duplica. Presta atención: rain > raining.

2. Si el infinitivo del verbo termina en consonant + e, tienes que eliminar la e y
agregar ING.
Observa: phone > phoning; dance > dancing; make > making; close > closing. Una
excepción a esta segunda regla es see > seeing.
3. Si el infinitivo del verbo termina en  ie , tienes que cambiar la ie por y agregando
luego ING. Observa: lie > lying; die > dying.

4. A todos los verbos que finalizan en Y simplemente les agrego ING
