1. It was in August two years ago when I was on holiday in Athens.
2. I wanted to see a man that I knew a little when I was at university. He was Greek
and he lived in Athens. I called him many times, but he did not answer. Suddenly,
on my last night, he came to my hotel.
3. I felt embarrassed, because my clothes were not very special-a green skirt and a
white T-shirt and Greek sandals-and my hair was a mess.
4. We went out and walked around the centre of Athens. We spoke English, but he
taught me some Greek words and I taught him some Spanish.
5. It was a warm night with a beautiful full moon.
6. I got back to the hotel at 3 a.m.
7. It was a magical evening-an Argentinian woman with a Greek man on the other
side of the world in those dark streets, with the lights from the parthenon up on the
hill!

1 . Fue en agosto de hace dos años, cuando yo estaba de vacaciones en Atenas.
2 . Quería ver a un hombre que sabía un poco cuando estaba en la universidad .
Él era griego y vivió en Atenas. Lo llamé muchas veces, pero no me respondió .
De repente, en mi última noche , vino a mi hotel.
3 . Me sentí avergonzado, porque mis ropas no eran muy especiales - una falda
verde y una camiseta blanca y sandalias - y griegos mi pelo era un desastre.
4 . Salimos y caminamos por el centro de Atenas. Hablamos Inglés , pero él me
enseñó algunas palabras griegas y yo le enseñamos algo de español .
5 . Era una noche cálida, con una hermosa luna llena .
6 . Volví al hotel a las 3 a.m.
7 . Era una tarde - una mujer argentina mágica con un hombre griego en el otro
lado del mundo en esas calles oscuras , con las luces del Partenón en la colina !

The National Portrait Gallery has a collection of portraits of famous British men and
women, from the 16th century to the present day. The portraits are both paintings
and photographs. The National Portrait Gallery is near Trafalgar Square, five
minutes from the National Gallery, London´s most important art gallery. It is open
daily and entrance is free.
