Definicion

La contabilidad se trata de una ciencia que, a través del registro de transacciones e

intercambios que afectan económicamente a una entidad, ofrece información detallada sobre
los resultados obtenidos por la misma en un periodo de tiempo determinado. La contabilidad
se encarga de ofrecer a diferentes interesados (clientes, proveedores, administración pública,
inversores, etc.) una imagen fiel de la situación y patrimonio empresarial en un momento de
tiempo determinado, así como un registro detallado de las operaciones realizas en un periodo
de tiempo concreto. Para ello, el sistema contable en los negocios cuantifica, mide y analiza la
realidad económica y las operaciones que se llevan a cabo, presentando esta información de
manera sistemática y ordenada para los diferentes interesados. El proceso contable en el que
se basa esta ciencia se trata de un conjunto de pasos estructurados y determinados por la
normativa correspondiente, que forman parte del desarrollo para el cumplimiento de las
metas que tiene una entidad. A su vez, este conjunto de pasos está regulado por la teoría
contable, que sería el conjunto conformado por reglas, normas, principios, técnicas,
procedimientos, criterios e instrumentos que son la base de la CONTABILIDAD.

Podemos sacar la conclusión de que la contabilidad tiene una importancia vital debido a que

financieras, de este modo obtendrá mayor productividad y aprovechamiento de su patrimonio.

trabaje en empresas y maneje negocios, también porque mi hermana ha estudiado esa
