II. RESUMEN
III. SUMMARY
In the course of a canal, there may be several accidents and obstacles such as: Depression of the
land, dry ravines, failures, water courses, the need to cross roads (roads, railways or other
channels). The solution by means of hydraulic structures is: Aqueducts, Siphon, Dams. In the case
of the crossing of a channel with a communication channel, it will depend on the importance of
the communication channel as the size of the channel, to choose if it is preferable to pass the
channel above the road or below it, in the first case the solution will be an aqueduct, in the second
case it will be opted for an inverted siphon or a covered conduit. Also in the case of natural
depressions it will be necessary to analyze the different alternatives and decide on the most
convenient structure. If the depression were wide and deep and did not narrow upstream, an
aqueduct might not be feasible, but an inverted siphon. In some it will be necessary to analyze
alternatives of covered duct sewer or siphon. The channels that are designed in sections of strong
slope result with very high flow rates that often exceed the maximum admissible for the materials
that are frequently used in its construction. To control the speeds in high slope sections,
combinations of ramps can be used. and steps, following the variations of the terrain. One of the
aspects that generally deserves special attention in the design of hydraulic works of mountain is
the dissipation of the kinetic energy that acquires a liquid jet by the increase of the speed of flow.
V. OBJETIVOS
trabajará a tubo lleno.
