– ¡Hola, Nasreddín! Me voy al campo a ver si atrapo alguna liebre. He traído dos
A pesar
estaban viendo ¡Llegaba totalmente seco!
Dispuesto a
ropa seca. Después, retomó el camino a casa.
– ¡Mira cómo me he puesto!
A long, long time, lived in India a boy named Nasreddin. Although he was a kid like
everyone else in appearance, intelligence attracted attention. Wherever he went
everybody recognized him and admired his wisdom. For some reason, always she
lived very curious stories and situations, as we will tell.
One day Nasreddin was in the garden of his home when a friend went to find him
to go hunting.
- Hello, Nasreddin! I go to the field to see if I catch a hare. I brought two horses
because I thought that maybe, you wanted to come with me. Ten other friends
expect us to leave the village Are you coming?
- Sure, good idea! In a couple of minutes I'll be ready.
Nasreddin came home, he cleaned up a bit and went out to meet his friend. I went
horseback and then realized it was an old animal and the poor trotted slowly, but
for education, said nothing and settled.
Once assembled the group, the twelve riders rode cross country, but the poor
Nasreddin stayed behind because her horse walked as slow as a donkey.
Helplessly, he saw ahead of him and were lost in the distance.
Suddenly, a storm broke out and began to rain very hard. All hunters incited their
animals for them to run at lightning speed and managed to take shelter at an inn
they found along the way. Although it was a run of three or four minutes, they got
totally drenched, soaked to the bones. They had to take off their clothes and drain
them as if they had taken from the ocean himself.
A Nasreddin also surprised the rain, but instead of running as others seeking
refuge, took off his clothes, folded, and naked, sat on it to protect it from water. He,
of course, also soaked, but when the storm ended and his skin was dried under
sunlight, put on dry clothes again and retook the way. A while later, when passing
through the inn, he saw the eleven horses tied at the door and stopped to
reconnect with his friends.
They were all sitting around a large table drinking wine and savoring rich steaming
broth. When Nasreddin appeared, they could not believe what they were seeing He
came completely dry!
The friend who had invited him to the hunt, stood and very surprised, told him:
- How can you be so dry? To you he has caught you storm like us. If despite our
horses are fast we have wet ... How can it be that you, who have taken much
longer, do not be?
Nasreddin looked at him and very calmly replied only:
- I owe it to the horse you left me.
The friend was silent and thought that there was something fishy. It eager to
discover the trick, took the decision that the next day, for the journey back home,
Nasreddin would give his young and fast horse, and he would stay with the slow
horse. After dawn, they went to the village with the exchanged horses. Again,
history repeated itself: the sky darkened and black clouds as coal started falling
raindrops the size of hazelnuts.
Nasreddin's friend, who was on the slow horse, even more than wet the day before
because it took twice as long to reach the people. Instead, Nasreddin, did the
same: he quickly got off his horse, folded clothes, sat on it, and naked, waited for
the rain to stop. He endured the storm over his head, but when the rain stopped
and the sun came quickly dry and put on dry clothes. Then he resumed the way
home. By chance, the two crossed paths at the entrance of the village. The friend
dripping water everywhere and when he saw Nasreddin drier than a raisin, a lot got
angry.
- See how I have made! I'm so wet that'll be lucky if I do not catch pneumonia! The
shame on you for giving me the slow horse!
Nareddín, as always, he drew a great lesson of what happened. Without raising his
voice, he replied:
- Dude ... Twice he got you the storm on the way on a fast horse around in a slow
horse, and both times have you wet. In your same
circumstances, I have finished completely dry.
Listen: Do not you think the fault is not the horse,
but you have not done anything to find a solution?
His friend, embarrassed, silent. Nasreddin, as
always, was right.
– ¿Qué tal has dormido?
gusto? – le preguntó.
Once upon a time a handsome prince who had dreams of marrying a princess. In
his reign there were many beautiful and intelligent women, but he wanted his future
wife had blue blood, ie, it was a real princess, daughter of king and heir to his
kingdom. So far he had not been lucky, but not lost hope of finding her someday.
The prince met all their daily duties and it was a good son. One of the things he
liked to do after dinner was to stay a conversation with their parents, kings, by the
fireplace in the great hall of the castle while. The warmth of the fire, the three
chatting animatedly until the wee hours of the morning.
One stormy night, while they were in full talk, someone knocked on the door.
Everyone was surprised them, for the night was not the most appropriate to be
outdoors.
- Who will be at this hour? - She said the prince, raising his eyebrows and looking
at his mother with surprise - do not expect overnight visits in thunder and lightning.
The king turned nimbly toward the entrance. Despite being almost an old man, his
physical condition and his health they were really enviable.
When he opened the door, his jaw dropped in surprise. Before his eyes was a
young woman in the rain. Its elegant dress was completely soaked and her hair
falling water jets. Poor shivering and could hardly speak.
- Good evening, Your Highness. I was surprised a heavy storm and I wondered if I
would be given shelter in his castle tonight - said the beautiful girl.
- Who are you, miss? - He asked the king.
- I'm a princess from one of the neighbors, Mr. kingdoms - said the girl.
- Come in, do not stay there. In our home you will find warmth and food.
Queen immediately came over and gave towels to dry and clean clothes to wear.
The prince noticed how beautiful she was when he saw her, but ... it would be a
real princess?
The queen, seeing how the prince watched spellbound, said:
- My son, I see that this girl is right for you. It certainly is very beautiful and seems
cultured and educated. We will check if a real princess.
- How will we do, Mother? I can not think how we can ensure - said the prince in
bewilderment.
- Very easy, dear son. Tonight, under your bed, put a small pea. If you notice their
presence is telling the truth, because only real princesses have such great
sensitivity.
As they had expected, she went to sleep in the castle. The next morning, he met
again with the royal family in the main hall.
- Good morning, highnesses - he said the beautiful girl saluting with a little bow.
- Good morning - they answered all at once.
The queen invited the girl to sit with them to breakfast.
- How did you sleep? Did you find comfortable bed and everything has been to
your liking? - He asked.
- Well, if I tell the truth, ma'am, I slept fatal - complained - I spent the night tossing
and turning in bed. I felt something hard to not let me sleep and I could not rest all
night. Look, lady, that I even have bruises on the back and arms do not understand
what could it happen!
The Queen, smirking, told the truth.
- It happens that under your mattress put a pea to see if you were really sensitive.
Only a real princess with sensitive skin is able to tell the hardness of a small pea
under a mattress. Surely you're it and would be happy that you were the wife of our
beloved son.
The princess blushed. He had also been in love with the handsome heir, so he did
not hesitate a moment and said yes. The prince, who had traveled the world
looking for her princess, at the end he found at home.
