I ¿QUE ES UN SUSTANTIVO?
Un sustantivo es una parte del discurso que nombra a una persona, lugar,
cosa, idea, acción o calidad. Por ejemplo:
Teacher (Profesor) es un sustantivo que nombra a una persona
Office (Office) es un sustantivo que nombra un lugar
Dog (Perro) es un nombre que nombra un animal
Book (Libro) es un nombre que nombra una cosa

1. Nombres propios:
Un nombre propio es un nombre utilizado para una persona, lugar u
organización individual. En inglés escrito, los nombres propios
comienzan con una letra mayúscula

I CÓMO USAR A / AN
A / an (significa uno) se usa con un sustantivo contable singular o
frase nominal. Usamos a / an con un sustantivo cuando lo mencionamos
por primera vez o queremos hablar de algo inespecífico.
Ejemplo:
1) I ate a banana today.(Comí un plátano hoy)
El orador está hablando de cualquier plátano en general, no de un
plátano específico.
2) Look! It’s a beautiful bird. - Which one? - The green bird.
¡Mira! Es un pájaro hermoso. - ¿Cúal? - El pájaro verde
El orador solo menciona el pájaro por primera vez

I ¿QUÉ ES UN ADJETIVO?
Un adjetivo es una palabra que describe o clarifica un sustantivo. Los
adjetivos describen los sustantivos al dar cierta información sobre un
objeto como el tamaño, la forma, la edad, el color, el origen o el
material. Por ejemplo:
My hat is black.
She’s my best friend.
He wore a big black hoodie.

II ADJETIVOS EN LA ORACIÓN
Diferente del español cuando los adjetivos van tras los sustantivos. En
inglés, un adjetivo generalmente viene inmediatamente antes de un
sustantivo y después de un artículo (a, an, the), un adjetivo posesivo (mi,
su, ella, su, tu, nuestro, su), un demostrativo (esto, eso, estos , esos) o
una cantidad (algunos, la mayoría, todos, algunos). Por ejemplo,
Artículo + Adjetivo (Adj) + Sustantivo
He wore a big black hoodie.
ERRORES COMUNES
Usar adjetivo antes de un sustantivo: It’s a nice car. NOT It’s a car nice.
Use adjetivo después del verbo be: They’re nice. NOT They nice are.

IV ADVERBIOS DE FRECUENCIA
Un adverbio de frecuencia describe con qué frecuencia ocurre una
acción. Always, usually, sometime y never son 4 adverbios comunes de
frecuencia.Un adverbio de frecuencia generalmente va antes del verbo
principal en una oración.

Julia: Somebody took my car when I was in the restaurant.

Julia: Last night. I got to the restaurant at around 6. I came out at 8 and
my car wasn't there anymore.
