I.

DESCRIPCIN

Este curso est dirigido a estudiantes del II ciclo de la carrera de Contabilidad y


Finanzas. Pretende familiarizar al estudiante con el idioma ingls relacionado al
campo de la administracin, la contabilidad y las finanzas
Se desarrolla en un periodo de 14 semanas y la asistencia a clases es obligatoria
por tratarse de un curso terico-prctico.
Al finalizar se espera que el estudiante pueda ser capaz de desenvolverse en el
ampo laboral con los conocimientos bsicos necesarios para que pueda entender,
interpretar y comprender diferente documentacin escrita en ingls
Este curso desarrolla una metodologa magistral. La evaluacin permitir medir el
grado de comprensin de los aspectos bsicos y tcnicos del ingls.
Para poder matricular este curso, es requisito haber aprobado Ingls Bsico I.

OBJETIVO GENERAL

Reconocer ideas centrales y terminologa de uso frecuente en textos relacionados


con el rea contable financiera mediante la realizacin de ejercicios de
comprensin de lectura para mejorar la competencia profesional.
III.

OBJETIVOS ESPECIFICOS

Utilizar el idioma ingls como un medio de comunicacin oral o escrito, por


medio de lecturas, grficos y otras fuentes para que el estudiante se relacione
con este idioma en el campo de la contabilidad y las finanzas.
Reconocer las estructuras gramaticales bsicas, por medio de diversos tipos de
ejercicios, para que el estudiante logre un mayor entendimiento de los diversos
textos que se le presenten.
Extraer ideas centrales de las lecturas, por medio de cuestionarios, ejercicios de
completar u otros tipos, para que el estudiante exprese sus opiniones sobre lo
ledo.
Identificar el significado de las palabras, por medio de la utilizacin de textos,
para poder lograr una mejor compresin de las lecturas.

V. METODOLOGIA
Cada semana, el profesor iniciar haciendo la exposicin de los aspectos
gramaticales que se han escogido para esa fecha. Seguidamente se harn las
lecturas en forma individual, en pareja, o en grupos. De no terminarse la lectura en
clase, la misma quedara de tarea para ser concluida en la casa. El profesor
estimulara la participacin de los estudiantes por medio de preguntas sobre el
tema que se estudia en ese momento.
