Sensor Guard 2000 de Goodyear

El Sensor Guard 2000 es un sistema de proteccin especialmente diseado para proteger


Correas Transportadoras contra accidentes o cortes longitudinales. Patentado por Goodyear, el
Sensor Guard 2000 representa muchos aos de experiencia en operaciones y viene a
solucionar un antiguo problema, pues la probabilidad de accidentes es una realidad desde que
comenz el transporte industrial a travs de Correas Transportadoras.
En los ltimos aos, la utilizacin de Correas Transportadoras a largas distancias y con altas
tensiones de trabajo se ha vuelto comn debido al alto costo de los combustibles de los
transportes convencionales. Estas Correas facilitan la operacin en los ms diversos tipos de
produccin. Teniendo en cuenta las largas distancias entre los centros del transportador, se
hace cada vez mas necesario prevenir eventuales daos que pudiesen acarrear la parada del
equipo para mantencin lo que resultara en perjuicios
A - Sensores: Son instalados en la
correa.
B - Cabezas detectoras: Un par de
cabezas detectoras son montadas en
un punto crtico del transportador.

cables a los detectores, la unidad de
control almacena todos los datos
necesarios
en
la
calibracion.
D - Encoder o Detector de
Proximidad: Es un generador de
pulsos conectado por cables a la
unidad de control.

Principales Componentes
Antenas O Sensor Loops
Son filamentos de acero enrollados y
trenzados. Estos sensores pueden ser
instalados en la Correa Transportadora
tanto en la fabricacin como en terreno.
Estos son colocados en la cubierta
inferior de la Correa. Existen intervalos
predeterminados en la Correa, para
definir la ubicacin de las reas en las
cuales estn colocadas las antenas.
Normalmente estos intervalos varan
entre 30 , 50 y 100 mts.
Cabezas Detectoras
Son unidades colocadas a un soporte del sistema
transportador y estratgicamente ubicadas en los
puntos crticos de accidentes. Su ms comn
ubicacin es justamente en los puntos de descarga.
Un detector emite una seal para una antena no
daada creando un campo electromagntico lo que

es traducido por la unidad de control como una


antena buena.
Si una antena estuviera daada la unidad de control
provoca una paralizacin de la Correa indicando cual
es el rea del defecto, posibilitando una rpida
localizacin
del
problema.
En
caso
de
desalineamiento de la Correa o deslizamiento de la
misma, el detector provoca una variacin de la
distancia prefijada, lo que producir una paralizacin
del sistema.
Las cabezas detectoras estn diseadas para recibir
seales de las antenas a intervalos regulares por
esto si hay deslizamiento de la Correa las cabezas
detectoras no reciben la seal de acuerdo al tiempo
previsto por lo que se paralizara automticamente.

Microtech Electronic, Batching system


The Micro-Tech instruments are suitable for applications utilizing: belt

Level Monitoring, Strain Gauge.


Thousands of C-Level continuous level indicating systems have been
successfully applied in a variety of industries ranging from food processing
to asphalt plants. With accuracy to within 2%, the C-Level has proven

Application examples
The FlexMove plastic slat conveyor system is
designed to provide flexible conveying solutions for all
industries.
These plastic slat conveyors have high weight
capacity. A slat conveyor will run at high speeds and
minimise the need for multiple drives on large
installations.

Applications with two curve slat conveyors merging


into one line and another applications with turned
metal parts on a straight running slat conveyor.

Incline application, the plastic slat conveyor belt has


been fitted with cleats. Two slat conveyors merge into
one with automatic diverter/gate.

Applications for boxes on a production line with


curves and accumulation. Note; with plastic slat
conveyor systems it's a common feature that the box
or product can overhang the plastic slat belt because
the plastic modular conveyor belt is very stable and
the side rails can help guide the product around
bends and through lane changes.

paper rolls raw product on end and on its side at
speed)

An accumulation or stacking application, sometimes know


as an Alpine system. Side grip belting for inverting products.
And on the right, a slat conveyor loop for recirculating
pallets.

Two pallet conveyors, on the left a puck conveyor system


for small pallets, on the right a twin lane slat conveyor
system for handling larger flat pallets for larger products.
Both pallets are made from low friction plastic, allowing
easy accumulation) Plastic slat conveyors allow a high level
of accumulation.
