La Asociacin de Bancos del Per, fundada en 1967, es una institucin gremial

que agrupa a los bancos e instituciones financieras privadas de nuestro pas y
cuyo principal objetivo es promover el fortalecimiento del sistema financiero
privado, proporcionando a sus asociados servicios de informacin, asesora y
consulta en asuntos de inters general.
El ndice de morosidad de las entidades bancarias que operan en el pas subi a
2,46% en agosto, su nivel ms alto desde noviembre del 2005 cuando report
una tasa de 2,51%.

La Asbanc indic que la morosidad tuvo en agosto un ligero aumento de 0,01
puntos frente a julio del 2014 y de 0,35 puntos en relacin a agosto del 2013.
Conforme al reporte del gremio bancario, se observ que el incremento de la mora
en el octavo mes del ao se debi principalmente al incumplimento de las
grandes y pequeas empresas, que segn datos de la SBS concentran
actualmente el 25% de la cartera de crditos de los bancos peruanos.
