Clima
Las temperaturas en los desiertos suelen
ser extremas, con una enorme variación.
En los desiertos cálidos se registran
temperaturas que superan los 40 °C
durante el día y por la noche descienden
por debajo de cero.
 Existen tres tipos de climas en el desierto

Reptiles. Como serpientes, iguanas, tortugas, lagartijas y
lagartos.
Insectos. Como hormigas, langostas, pulgas, mariposas y
escarabajos.
Arácnidos. Como escorpiones y tarántulas.
Aves. Como avestruces, lechuzas, pájaros carpinteros, halcones,
búhos y buitres.
Mamíferos. camellos y dromedarios de altísima resistencia a la
sequía, coyotes, lobos, murciélagos, canguros, pumas, adax,
suricatas, chacales, gacelas y zorros.
 Desiertos del mundo
Los principales desiertos del mundo son:
Desierto del Sahara. Es un desierto cálido ubicado en el norte de África

Desierto antártico. Es un desierto polar que se ubica en el continente antártico.

Desierto ártico. Es un desierto polar ubicado en el extremo norte del planeta dentro de territorios como Groenlandia, Alaska, Canadá e Islandia

Desierto de Gobi. Es un desierto ubicado en Asia, en los territorios de China y Mongolia.

Desierto de Arabia. Es un desierto ubicado en Asia, dentro de la península arábiga

Desiertos australianos. Son desiertos que forman parte del territorio australiano

Desierto de Chihuahua. Es un desierto ubicado en América del Norte y es uno de los más extensos de este continente.

Desierto patagónico. Es un desierto ubicado en el hemisferio sur, en Argentina y Chile.

Desierto de Atacama. Es un desierto ubicado al norte de Chile, en América del Sur,
