CARACTERISTICAS DE LAS AQUEOBACTERIAS.
TERMÓFILAS: son las arqueobacterias que resisten a altas
temperaturas, hasta de 100ºC y poseen una acidez muy baja. Se
encuentran en ambientes acuáticos cercanos a fallas de la corteza
oceánica o grietas volcánicas. Estos organismos simplifican la materia
orgánica para obtener energía efectuando una quimio síntesis de los
compuestos inorgánicos como el acido sulfúrico.
METANO GENICAS: caracterizados por tener un metabolismo
anaeróbico, por lo que se valen del hidrogeno para catalizar el dióxido de
carbono en metano. Se encuentran en sedimentos o intestinos de
animales, han sobrevivido a 3 km de profundidad del hielo glaciar en
Groenlandia.
HALOFILAS: son las bacterias primitivas que habitan lugares de alta
concentración salina, como la salinidad del mar muerto.
MESOFILAS: de ambientes como pantanos.
