¿Que es el sistema nervioso?

El sistema nervioso es el sistema que dirige, supervisa y
controla todas las funciones y actividades del cuerpo.
Comprende un conjunto de órganos reguladores y una red
que interconecta estos órganos con el resto del organismo.

Los órganos del sistema nervioso están
constituidos por unas células especializadas
llamadas neuronas y células auxiliares
llamadas glía. Las neuronas se encargan de
transmitir la información entre el sistema
nervioso y los otros órganos del cuerpo.
Esto lo realizan formando unas fibras que
conocemos como nervios. Las glías
proporcionan soporte y mantenimiento a las
neuronas.
El sistema nervioso ha evolucionado desde
los animales invertebrados hasta los
vertebrados. En la mayoría de los animales
vertebrados, el sistema nervioso consiste de
un centro coordinador (el sistema nervioso
central, SNC) y una red de conexión
nerviosa (el sistema nervioso periférico
SNP).

es la parte del sistema nervioso que es el encargado en nuestro
controla todas nuestras funciones organismo de enviar la información
corporales adecuada a nuestro cerebro

El sistema nervioso central (SNC) es el centro de control de las funciones
más complejas, como las emociones, el aprendizaje, la comunicación y
las sensaciones. Los órganos del SNC están envueltos en unas
membranas protectoras, conocidas como las meninges. Está compuesto
del encéfalo y la médula espinal.
