Adverbs
An Adverb is a word that describes a verb. Adverbs tell us how
someone does something or how something happens. In Spanish
these usually end in "-mente", for example "kindly", would be
“amablemente”. Un adverbio es una palabra que describe un verbo. Los adverbios nos dicen cómo
alguien hace algo o cómo sucede algo. En español suelen terminar en "-mente", por ejemplo "kindly", sería
"amablemente"

Adverbs can modify verbs, adjectives and other adverbs:

1.The general rule for forming adverbs is to add the"-ly" at the end of an adjective
La regla general para formar adverbios es añadir el "-ly" al final de un adjetivo

Quick = quickly (rapido=rapidamente) Honest= honestly (honesto(a)=honestamente)

2.For adjectives ending in consonant plus "-y," we subtract the "-y" and add "-ily."
Para adjetivos que terminan en consonante más "-y", sustraemos la"-y" y añadimos "-ily".

Easy=easily( fácil=fácilmente) Happy=happily(alegre=alegremente)

3. Adjectives ending in "-ic" change the ending "-ic" to "-ically."


Los adjetivos que terminan en "-ic" cambiamos la terminación "-ic" a "-ically"

Automatic=automatically (automático=automáticamente) Tragic=tragically(trágico=trágicamente)


4. Adjectives ending in "-le," we change “le" to-ly.

How to use During, For and While
 The prepositions during, for, and while are often used with time time expressions.
Let's take a look at the difference in usage between during, for, and while.
 How to use during
 during is a preposition which is used before a noun (during + noun) to say when
something happens. It does not tell us how long it happened. For example:
 "Nobody spoke during the presentation."
 "We get plenty of snow here during the winter."
 How to use while
 When is used to talk about two things that are happening at the same time. The length
of time is not important. Remember that while is used with a subject and
a verb (while + subject + verb). For example:
 "The phone rang while I was watching TV."
 "I met him while we were studying in the library."
 How to use for
 For is a preposition which is used with a period to say how long something goes on:
 "Simon has been sleeping for 8 hours."
 "We waited for 30 minutes outside your house.“
