kilogramos(kg), libras(L), arroas (@), toneladas(T), onzas (onz).
(gal), cuartos (QT) y onzas ( onz).

Chemistry is the auxiliary science of the natural sciences that will be
responsible for studying matter and matter is everything that exists in the
universe, of matter in chemistry we will be interested in the solid, liquid
and gaseous part.
• In the solid part we will have the lithosphere.
• In the liquid part we will have the hydrosphere.
• In the gaseous part we will have the atmosphere.
On the other hand, we say that matter is also everything that has weight,
mass and volume where:
o The mass is the amount of matter that the body has, the instrument
with which we are going to measure the mass is the scale, the
scale and roman and the units are grams(g), kilograms (kg),
pounds(L), arroas(@), tons(T) and ounces(onz).
o The weight is the measure of the force with which the earth attracts
the bodies, the instrument with which we are going to measure the
weight is the dynamometer and the units will make the same as
the mass.
o The volume is the space occupied by a body; we will take into
account the states of matter.
§ Solid: the solid we are going to measure in cm3 by means
of displacement of water (irregular solid), we find solids that
can be measured by means of length, width and height
(regular solid).
§ Liquids: Liquids will be measured in any graduated
container.
§ Gas: The gas will also be measured by means of the
displacement of water where the units of measurement are
cubic centimeters (cm3), milliliters(ml), liters(L), cubic
decimeters (dm3), cubic meters (m3), gallon (gal), quarters
(QT) and ounces (onz).
