 RESUMEN

La presente monografía tiene como objetivo hacer una comparación entre la

ultrasonografía y la TAC como medio de diagnóstico para la apendicitis y determinar
qué estudio es más conveniente de realizar entre estos dos, tomando en cuenta la
facilidad, la conveniencia y efectividad del estudio a modo de insumo para cuidar la
salud del paciente. Para alcanzar este objetivo propongo elaborar una investigación a
fondo sobre estos medios de diagnóstico. Para ello recurrí a un análisis sobre distintos
artículos que abordan los temas que tocaremos en esta monografía. Los fundamentos
que dan inicio y sustento a esta monografía son la investigación de los usos de la
ultrasonografía y la TAC, sus principales propiedades y la historia de estos mismos.

 ABSTRACT

The objective of this monograph is to make a comparison between ultrasonography

and TAC as a means of diagnosis for appendicitis and to determine which study is
more convenient to perform between these two, taking into account the ease,
convenience and effectiveness of the study as a input to care for the health of the
patient. To achieve this goal, I propose to carry out an in-depth investigation on these
means of diagnosis. To do this, I resorted to an analysis of different articles that
address the issues that we will touch on in this monograph. The foundations that give
rise to and sustain this monograph are the investigation of the uses of ultrasonography
and TAC, their main properties and their history.
