2. PRESENTACIÓN:

Estimados aprendices, en esta guía se estudiará el tiempo FUTURO. Deben saber que hay dos formas
principales para expresar el futuro. A veces son intercambiables, pero a menudo pueden tener significados
diferentes.

Existe una diferencia entre estas dos formas de expresar el futuro. Generalmente "to be + going to" se usa
para acciones que van a suceder muy pronto o para expresar un plan que se tiene. "Will" se usa para
expresar una promesa, una predicción o algo que se quiere hacer en el futuro. En ese orden los temas
principales a desarrollar en esta guía son el tiempo futuro simple y el uso del “be going to”

La segunda parte de la gúia estara enfocada a los condicionales en ingles, existen 5 tipos de
condicionales, pero aprenderemos el uso de el Conditional Zero, el cual se usa para hablar de
hechos o situaciones que siempre son ciertas. Y el First Conditional, que se usa para hablar sobre
acciones/eventos en el futuro que tengan una posibilidad real de que sucedan.

 THE FUTURE TENSE WITH “WILL”

Do you want to talk about your next vacation? Or maybe where you want to work in a few years? What do
you want to buy for your birthday? For all this and more, the future simple in English is useful through will. In
this table you can see its uses:

THE FUTURE TENSE WITH “BE GOING TO”

There is another future form that uses going to instead of will. It is necessary to know the uses of each one
well to avoid confusion, since one of its translations is to go to do.

These are the sentence structures that use going to in its affirmative, negative, and interrogative forms:

CONDITIONALS

Conditionals are a very useful type of sentence to present scenarios ranging from real to imaginary.
Therefore, they are usually related to plans, desires, dreams or purposes. However, not all conditionals in
English are the same, as they vary according to the possibility they are expressing, and the tenses used.

At a grammatical level, conditionals are formed with the particle if (if) that relates an action that depends on
another. According to this, the first action is a condition (also known as an if clause) and the next one is the
result (or main clause).

In this guide you will learn the bases to form the two types of conditionals 0 and 1. Their structures and
functions.

ZERO CONDITIONAL (TYPE 0)

The zero conditional is used to form sentences where both the condition and the result are real facts. In zero
conditional sentences, the tense in both parts of the sentence is the simple present. The zero conditional
is used to make statements about the real world, and often refers to general truths, such as scientific
facts. In these sentences, the time is now or always, and the situation is real and possible.

GRAMMATICAL STRUCTURE OF THE ZERO CONDITIONAL

Option 1: If + Condition (sentence with conjugated verb in present simple) + Result

(sentence with conjugated verb in present simple)

Option 2: Result (sentence with conjugated verb in present simple) + if + Condition

(sentence with conjugated verb in present simple).
Note: Consider that the position of the condition and the result changes according to the position of it.

FIRST CONDITIONAL

Meaning. First conditional is used to talk about actions/events in the future which are likely to happen or have
a real possibility of happening. If it rains tomorrow, I'll stay at home. (I think there is a real possibility of rain
tomorrow. In this condition, I will stay at home)

GRAMMATICAL STRUCTURE OF THE FIRST CONDITIONAL

Option 1: If + Condition (sentence with conjugated verb in present simple) + will + Result
(sentence with infinitive verb).

Option 2: Result (sentence with verb in infinitive) + will + if + Condition (sentence with
conjugated verb in present simple).

Note: You can also form this conditional using other modal verbs instead of will, such as may, should, can.

3. FORMULACIÓN DE LAS ACTIVIDADES DE APRENDIZAJE

3.1 Actividades de Reflexión inicial.

Al inicio de la clase, cree una conversación con los aprendices en la cual se pregunten a sí mismos como
creen que será la tecnología a su alrededor y ¿Cuáles seria las posibles invenciones revolucionarias en los
próximos 10 años, será benéfico o perjudicial para la humanidad?, ¿Qué pasará dentro de 5, 10 años con
sus vidas en base a su lo profesional, económico, familiar? ¿Cómo será el mundo? ¿En qué condiciones se
encontrará el medio ambiente dentro de 15 años? Etc.

Al analizar el trasfondo de las preguntas anteriores podemos notar que, sucedan o no, constituyen una
actividad que se planea a largo plazo.

Si hablamos de corto plazo hay expresiones que desde nuestro presente dictan actividades futuras: ¿Que
vas a hacer más tarde? ¿Qué harás para la presentación de mañana? Etc.

- Construya un texto corto en el cual responda a una de las preguntas anteriores en el foro.
- Identifique el vocabulario que crea necesario para su traducción al inglés.

3.2 Actividades de contextualización e identificación de conocimientos necesarios para el
aprendizaje.

Señor aprendiz, como bien se explicó en la introducción la temática de esta guía de aprendizaje se enmarca
en el aprendizaje del tiempo verbal futuro simple. Este es un tiempo verbal que se constituye con unas
funciones específicas.

Para llevar a cabo el objetivo de esta guía se planteará un workshop que se trabajará en clase con la
supervisión directa del instructor; el taller MY LIFE PROJECT contiene 4 ejercicios en los cuales se
evaluaran los conocimientos gramaticales de los tiempos futuros.

La segunda actividad, será nuevamente un workshop que se trabajará en clase con la supervisión directa
del instructor; el workshop contiene ejercicios en los cuales se evaluaran los conocimientos gramaticales
correspondientes a ZERO CONDITIONAL y FIRST CONDITIONAL.

3.3 Actividades de transferencia del conocimiento.

Durante el proceso formativo, los aprendices desarrollaran las diferentes actividades, programadas por el
instructor, basadas en los diferentes temas de esta nueva competencia. Por otra parte, recibirán un material
de apoyo con las diferentes temáticas de la guía, en el cual están incluidas una serie de ejercicios a realizar.

Aprendiz, usted ya está en la capacidad de comprender y proponer distintos elementos en el idioma inglés
en los que se utilicen los diferentes temas vistos durante su proceso de formación (verbos, pronombres,
adjetivos, artículos, sustantivos, adverbios, verbos, etc.). Por consiguiente, usted deberá realizar una hoja
de vida en inglés donde muestre dominio de vocabulario, gramática y escritura.

Las actividades de evaluación se realizarán teniendo como base los talleres de preparación de la guía.
Recuerde que en esta última guía se pueden mezclar en las preguntas de temas de todas las guías
anteriores.

1. Se realizará una entrevista en inglés donde muestre dominio del idioma. Las preguntas serán dadas por
el instructor y usted deberá prepararse para la misma.
2. Realizar preparación de prueba TyT basándose en las temáticas estudiadas en formación.
