Vive como un mono desde que se independizó. Ni siquiera se plancha las

camisas y huele a pescado podrido. Como como con él, soy uno de los que
sabe cómo ha cambiado. Pero no pienso seguir tolerándolo. Como no se
duche esta semana, dejaré caer indirectas como "sabes cómo es una
ducha?", "saben tus dientes cómo sabe la pasta dentífrica?". Aunque no sé
si merecerá la pena porque, como siempre, sonreirá y cogerá otro puñado
de cacahuetes. Todavía me pregunto a diario cómo me atreví a ofrecerle
mi piso cuando se marchó de casa. "Como te parezca", le contesté cuando
sugirió que podríamos compartir gastos y trabajos de casa. ¡Cómo añoro
mis tiempos de traquilidad en mi piso!

He lives like a monkey since he got independent. He does not even iron
his shirts and smells of rotten fish. As I eat with him, I am the one who
knows how he has changed. But I will not stand him any more. If he does
not have a shower this week, I will drop hints like Do you know what a
shower is like?, Do your teeth know what toothpaste tastes of? Although I
do not know if that will worth it because, as usual, he will smile and grab
another handful of peanuts. I still wonder every day how I dared to offer
him my flat when he left home. “As you please”, I replied when he
suggested that we could share the expenses and housework. How I miss
that peaceful time in my flat!
