En la propuesta de trabajo de hoy vamos a aprender un tema gramatical nuevo. Como es bastante complejo
debes prestar mucha atención a la explicación para poder entenderlo, practicarlo y finalmente aprenderlo.

UNIT 2: My favourite days

PRESENT SIMPLE – Affirmative form.

 En inglés utilizamos el tiempo verbal Presente Simple para expresar acciones que realizamos de
manera frecuente o habitual y las decimos a modo de información o también para expresar
sentimientos.
 Para expresar oraciones afirmativas en presente simple, utilizamos el pronombre seguido del verbo
que queremos comunicar.
 Cuando damos información sobre la tercera persona del singular (He/ She/ it), generalmente le
agregamos -s al verbo. Existen algunas excepciones:
 Cuando el verbo termina en consonante seguida de “y”, cambiamos la “y” por “i” y
luego agregamos “-es”. Ej: study / studies.
 Cuando el verbo termina en “-sh, -ch, -x, -s”, agregamos “-es”. Ej: Watch / watches.
 Algunos verbos son irregulares: go/goes, do/does, have/has

Affirmative Sentences (oraciones afirmativas)

Examples: I work in the school.
You study at home.
She watches TV in the afternoon.
He works in a factory.
It has a good garden.
We like Maths.
They live in New York.
