GLOSARIO (GLOSSARY)
1. PERSONALIDAD:
Conjunto de características o cualidades originales que destacan en algunas
Personas.
PERSONALITY: Set of original characteristics or qualities that stand out in some people
2. LIBIDO:
Deseo sexual, considerado por algunos autores como impulso y raíz de las más
varias manifestaciones de la actividad psíquica.
LIBIDO: Sexual desire, considered by some authors as the impulse and root of the most
diverse manifestations of mental activity.
3. INCONSCIENTE
Conjunto de caracteres y procesos psíquicos que, aunque condicionan la conducta,
no afloran en la conciencia.
UNCONSCIOUS: Set of characters and psychic processes that, although they condition
behavior, do not emerge in consciousness.
4. CONSCIENTE
Dicho de una persona: Que tiene conocimiento de algo o se da cuenta de ello,
especialmente de los propios actos y sus consecuencias.
CONSCIOUS: Said of a person: who has knowledge of something or is aware of it,
especially their own acts and their consequences.
5. TEMPERAMENTO:
Carácter, manera de ser o de reaccionar de las personas.
TEMPERAMENT: Character, way of being or reacting to people.
6. EGOCENTRISMO:
Exagerada exaltación de la propia personalidad, hasta considerarla como centro de
la atención y actividad generales.
EGOCENTRISM: Exaggerated exaltation of one's own personality, to the point of
considering it as the center of general attention and activity.
7. ADAPTABILIDAD:
Es la capacidad de responder adecuadamente a las exigencias del entorno, regulando
el comportamiento para lograr la homeostasis.
ADAPTABILITY: It is the ability to respond adequately to the demands of the
environment, regulating behavior to achieve homeostasis
8. CONDUCTA:
Conjunto de las acciones con que un ser vivo responde a una situación.
BEHAVIOR: Set of actions with which a living being responds to a situation.
9. CONDICIONAMIENTO:
Es un proceso de aprendizaje que se produce a través de asociaciones entre un
estímulo ambiental y un estímulo natural.
CONDITIONING: It is a learning process that occurs through associations between an
environmental stimulus and a natural stimulus.
10. APEGO:
Es el proceso por medio del cual los niños establecen y mantienen una relación
específica con otro individuo al que se le considera mejor capacitado para enfrentarse
al mundo.
ATTACHMENT: It is the process by which children establish and maintain a specific
relationship with another individual who is considered better able to face the world.
11. ASIMILACIÓN:
Es el proceso por el que el sujeto interpreta la información que proviene del medio, en
función de sus esquemas o estructuras conceptuales disponibles.
ASSIMILATION: It is the process by which the subject interprets the information that
comes from the environment, based on their available conceptual schemes or
structures.
12. CARÁCTER:
El conjunto de cualidades o circunstancias propias de una cosa, de una persona o de
una colectividad, que las distingue, por su modo de ser u obrar, de las demás.
CHARACTER: The set of qualities or circumstances of a thing, a person or a community,
which distinguishes them, by their way of being or acting, from others.
13. AFECTIVIDAD:
Es aquella capacidad que tiene el individuo para reaccionar ante ciertos estímulos ya
sean del medio interno o externos y que se caractericen por los sentimientos y
emociones.
AFFECTIVITY: It is that capacity that the individual has to react to certain stimuli,
whether from the internal or external environment and that are characterized by
feelings and emotions.
14. PERCEPCION:
Es el mecanismo individual que realizan los seres humanos que consiste en recibir,
interpretar y comprender las señales que provienen desde el exterior, codificándolas a
partir de la actividad sensitiva.
PERCEPTION: It is the individual mechanism carried out by human beings that consists
of receiving, interpreting and understanding the signals that come from the outside,
coding them from the sensitive activity.
15. PSICOSIS:
La psicosis es un trastorno mental grave que altera profundamente la capacidad
mental de un individuo y le hace perder contacto con la realidad.
PSYCHOSIS: Psychosis is a serious mental disorder that profoundly alters an individual's
mental capacity and causes them to lose touch with reality.
16. ETAPA ANAL:
Se organiza al alrededor de la zona erógena anal, el objeto de satisfacción está ligado
con la función de defecación (expulsión – retención) y al valor simbólicos de las heces.
ANAL STAGE: It is organized around the anal erogenous zone, the object of satisfaction
is linked to the defecation function (expulsion - retention) and the symbolic value of
feces.
17. CONFIANZA:
Es la creencia o fe persistente que una persona tiene en algo, alguien o en sí mismo y
que le permite actuar de forma apropiada en múltiples circunstancias.
TRUST: It is the belief or persistent faith that a person has in something, someone or in
himself and that allows him to act appropriately in multiple circumstances.
18. EMPATÍA:
Se trata de la capacidad que poseen algunas personas para ponerse en el lugar de los
demás.
EMPATHY: It is about the ability that some people have to put themselves in the place
of others.
19. RELACIÓN:
Es una conexión o vínculo establecido entre dos entes, lográndose así
una interacción entre los mismos, esta terminología debido a su amplio concepto
puede ser aplicado en distintas áreas y su concepto se modificará un poco según el
ámbito que se describa.
RELATIONSHIP: It is a connection or link established between two entities, thus
achieving an interaction between them, this terminology due to its broad concept can
be applied in different areas and its concept will be modified a little according to the
field that is described.
20. COMPLEJO DE INFERIORIDAD:
Estancamiento del crecimiento en el cual las dificultades parecen demasiado inmersas
para superarlas.
INFERIORITY COMPLEX: Growth stagnation in which difficulties seem too immersed to
overcome.
