Relato

Introducción
Hola somos Ariana, Sara y Ángela y vamos a representar un pequeño relato que hemos
hecho.
Se trata de un intercambio en el que Ángela, una chica de estados unidos viene a España
hablando únicamente inglés.
Ari es su host sister y habla spanglish y Sara la mejor amiga de Ari que habla únicamente
español.

Se encontraban esperando la llegada de los del intercambio en la entrada del instituto a
media mañana.
Llegan y se presentan
AN-hii!!! How are you? I’m so excited to be here.
AR-Holaaa me too, I want to show you lots of things of mi instituto y la ciudad.
AN-Oh wow, it’s raining a lot.
AR-Yes, this is Cantabria.
Entonces llegó Sara
AR-Ella es mi best friend sara and she is very smart.
S- ¡¡¡Hola encantada de conocerte!!! Ari me ha hablado mucho de ti.
AN-Nice to meet you too i`m sorry, but i didn’t understand the last part you said.
AR- Don`t worry yo os traduzco, sara doesn`t know inglés, she said that i talked a lot about
you.
AN-Oh how sweet of you.
AR-Vamos let me show you nuestro instituto.
Después de que Ari y Sara enseñaron a Angela el Instituto, empezaron las clases.
La primera era inglés con Tania.
Tania empezó dando la bienvenida a los del intercambio y diciendo que la clase iba a
consistir en hablar entre todos y conocerse.
AR- Vale, I’m going to introduce you to algunos de mis compañeros.
AN- Okay cool.
AR- The blond one is Pablo, es nuevo this year. Over there is Noe he is very optimista.
AR-The group over there are Rosario, Maria, Adriana, Jimena y Elena.
Después de estar conversando sobre las diferencias entre las dos culturas se acabó la clase y
empezó la última clase del día, matemáticas.
La profesora de matemáticas, Almudena, empieza la clase dibujando unas gráficas en las
que representan unos puntos. En ese momento Neco y Sergio empezaron a quejarse de que
no era lo suficientemente perfecto ya que iban a dibujo técnico, a lo que toda la clase se ríe
incluyendo a Almudena.
AN-OMG what’s happening?
AR-Those are Neco and Sergio, they are joking about the gráfica on the whiteboard.
AN-Ohhh now i get it.
S-Oye Ariana pregunta a Ángela si ha dado esto en estados unidos.
AR- ¿El qué de todo?
S-Lo de pasar de un número complejo a polar.
AR- Voy, Ángela have you learnt about this in your instituto?
AN-No not really , what’s going on?
AR- I don’t understand it either , so no preocupation.
AR- Sara explica
S- Na, si yo me perdí cuando aparecieron los grados.
Después de la clase las tres chicas esperaron a que llegara el bus.
AN-What time is it ?
S-Las tres y media
AN- Already?
AR- Yeah our bus is the ultimo to arrive.
S- ¡Oh no! voy a llegar tarde al conservatorio, hoy el bus está llegando más tarde de lo
normal.
AN- what is conservatorio?
AR-Es un sitio donde da music classes
AN- oh wow, what instrument do you play ?
S- La flauta travesera.
AR-The flaute.
S- Por cierto, Ariana, ¿vas a ir a la fiesta de esta noche? ¿A qué hora era?
Ariana pregunta a Ángela si quiere venir.
AR- ah si, Ángela luego hay una parti, do you want to go?
AN-That sounds fun. Sure let’s go !
Entonces viene el bus y llegan a sus casas, comen, se preparan y se vuelven a encontrar en
la fiesta.
AN-Hey Sara.
S- ¡Hola, chicas! Estáis muy guapas.
AR-You too.
AN-Wow i didn’t expect so many people to be here. It’s so diferent from USA.
S- Oh mira esta Sergio, neco, noe... ¡Pero si están todos los de clase!
AR-Anda si también esta Atenea con ellos
AN-Oh i didn’t see Atenea in our class today.
AR- She doesn’t go to our instituto.
AN- I love the music it’s so upbeat
AR- You like el reggaeton?
AN- That’s the name of this type of music? Then i do like reggaeton.
S- ¡Mirar hay una pelea ahí! Vamos a ver que ha pasado.
AR- Yess come on tenemos que enterarnos.
AN- What’s going on?
Las tres se acercan a la escena.
