Hi everybody!

My name is Laura (Laura is actually

the Spanish way for Lora) don’t mind, I easy both
ways are okay for me, and I’m 31, born and raised in
a small town by the Mediterranean sea in Spain, but
nowadays living in my personal volcanic paradise, the
lovely Canary Islands.

I have been doing entertainment for a while now,

almost 10 years, mostly in family hotels, doing
miniclub for the little ones, doing fitness for the lazy
ones, and karaoke for the drunk ones. I have very
funny stories about these times actually.

There is where I start to talk more English, the 90% of

the guests were from England and Scotland enfasi en

level was not the best, and I realized loved so much, I
just start to watch Disney channel shows like Hanna
Montana, and a few years later I change for Keeping
Up with The Kardashians, that’s why my level of
English is not that good.

It took me a while understand your language, in the

beginning really heated verbs in English, I DANCE,
YOU DANCE, HE DANCES… WHY. Is he dancing
more than me? I don’t think so. 6hundred and 45
people dance AND HE DANCES? How much is this
human being dancing?
And also the other day a saw a person saying: don’t
call me he, call me THEY. And I was like: wth. It
took me three years to learn I AM, YOU ARE, HE IS.
I worked very hard on this. So yeah, change your
gender but don’t change your grammar please. Very
confusing to me.

Also in Spanish we have ‘’false friends’’ which are

words in english very similar to the ones in spanish
but completely different meanings in english. So I
found myself in a situation a few years ago where the
person in front of me was sneezing, and with clear
symptoms of cold… well, in Spanish, you can say:
estar resfiado, o ESTAR CONSTIPADO. SO I
ENDED UP ASKING: ARE YOU CONSTIPATED?
And looking how he was looking at me I knew
immediately I was wrong.
So guys I’m about to be your activity host this week,
we will start the day with some yoga, stretching,
hiphop and twerk lessons. I‘m going to be with you
just in case you need something during the tours, I
will prepared activities in afternoons and nights will
be wild, with some games and dancing, hope your not
