He is a pioneer and one of the world's leading researchers in atmospheric chemistry. He was co-
author, together with F.S. Rowland in 1974, of the original article predicting the thinning of the
ozone layer as a consequence of the emission of certain industrial gases, the chlorofluorocarbons
(CFCs), which won them the Nobel Prize in Chemistry. Their research and publications on the
subject also led to the United Nations Montreal Protocol, the first international treaty to effectively
address an environmental problem of global scale and anthropogenic origin.

“Los Leones de San Pablo” que se unen a las fuerzas de Pancho Villa durante la revolución
mexicana. Los temas tratados incluyen el desencanto con la revolución, la desmitificación de
Pancho Villa, y la crítica de la guerra en general.

masterpiece of Mexican Cinema.2 Based on the novel Vámonos con Pancho Villa (1931) by Rafael

who join Pancho Villa's forces during the Mexican Revolution. Themes addressed include
