Módulo 10: del 23 de Agosto al 03 de Septiembre

Objetivo de aprendizaje: Al final de esta unidad, podrás

identificar la ropa, relacionarla con las estaciones del año, y
también podrás conocer algunos vegetales, que te permitirá
expresarte en el idioma.

Ruta de aprendizaje: Esta semana comenzaremos la

unidad 5, que se llama “I want to be a farmer” donde
aprenderemos sobre las prendas de ropa, algunos
vegetales, y las estaciones del año, también veremos el
valor de dar a quien lo necesita. En este módulo
comenzaremos contextualizándonos con las prendas de
ropa, cuáles son, identificándolas en canciones, vídeos e
imágenes. También, conoceremos la historia “quiero ser
un granjero”, y finalmente, ¡crearemos nuestro propio
tendedero de ropa!
Warm up:

In this module, we’ll start unit 5, which is called “I want to be a farmer”. Do you know what a farmer is? Yes,
it’s a person who works in the farm. Have you ever seen a farm? In this unit we’ll learn about clothes, seasons
and vegetables.

En este módulo, comenzaremos la unidad 5, que se llama “quiero ser un granjero”. ¿Sabes lo que es un
granjero? Sí, es una persona que trabaja en una granja. ¿Has visto alguna vez una granja? En esta unidad,
aprenderemos sobre la ropa, las estaciones del año y los vegetales.

Activity 1

- To introduce this topic, let’s watch this YouTube video about clothes. This is a very funny song; pay attention
to the clothes you see!

- Look at this page and look at the children!

- Look at the clothes and trace them, you can colour it too. Point and try to say their names: hat, jumper,
trousers, gloves, socks, boots.
- Look at the empty faces, draw their eyes, nose, and mouth. Are they happy?

- Vamos a ver la canción de la unidad 5, abre el archivo llamado “clothes song video”, toma atención a las
palabras de los juegos de exterior, repite, sigue el baile y canta.

- Mira las caras vacías, dibuja sus ojos, nariz y boca. ¿Están felices?

- Let’s watch the story “I want to be a farmer”, open the file called “I want to be a farmer”.

One sunny day, Robin and Daisy are playing with the dressing up box.
“I want to be a farmer” says Robin.
“I want to be a farmer, too” says Daisy.
Robin puts on his farmer costume.
Daisy puts on her farmer costume.
And off they go…

Robin and Daisy are at the farm.

Wow! Look at the strawberries – says Robin. They’re very big.
But, oh dear! The birds are eating the strawberries.

Robin and Daisy see a scarecrow. He’s sad.

What’s the matter? – asks Robin.
I’m not a good scarecrow. My clothes are too old. Look, the birds are eating the strawberries.

We’ve got lots of clothes – says Robin.

I know! – says Daisy. Let’s give them to the scarecrow.
So, Robin takes off his trousers, and Daisy takes off her hat.
Put on these trousers – says Robin.
Put on this hat – says Daisy.
Daisy takes off her jumper and her gloves.
Put on this jumper and these gloves – says Daisy.
The scarecrow puts on the jumper and the gloves, and some birds fly away.
That’s better – says Robin.
Robin takes off his boots and his socks.
Put on these socks and these boots – says Robin.
The scarecrow puts on the socks and the boots and some more birds fly away.
That’s better – says Robin.

The scarecrow has lots of new clothes.

Look at my trousers, my hat, my jumper, my gloves, my socks, and my boots – says the scarecrow.
All the birds fly away.
Hurray! – say Robin and Daisy.

The birds aren’t eating the strawberries now!

The scarecrow is a good scarecrow.
He’s happy.
Goodbye – say Robin and Daisy.
Goodbye- says the scarecrow. And thank you!

Un día soleado, Robin y Daisy están jugando con la caja de disfraces.
“Quiero ser un granjero” dice Robin

Tenemos un montón de ropa – dice Robin.

¡Lo sé! – dice Daisy. Démosle nuestra ropa al espantapájaros.
Así que Robin se saca sus pantalones, y Daisy se saca su gorro.
Ponte estos pantalones – dice Robin.
Ponte este gorro – dice Daisy.
Daisy se saca su chaleco y sus guantes.
Ponte este chaleco y estos guantes – dice Daisy.
El espantapájaros se pone el chaleco y los guantes, y algunas aves se van volando.
Eso está mejor – dice Robin.

Robin se saca sus botas y sus calcetines.

Activity 4

- Think about the story “I want to be a farmer” and imagine you are there with Robin, Daisy, and the
scarecrow and its old clothes! What would happen? Draw yourself with them in this story!

- Piensa en la historia “quiero ser un granjero” e imagina que estás ahí con Robin, Daisy, y el espantapájaros

- Look at this page, and look at the scarecrow!

- Look at picture 1, is the scarecrow happy or sad? What is missing in the picture? Draw it!
- Look at picture 2, is the scarecrow happy or sad? What is missing? Colour the scarecrow’s clothes according
to the story! You can watch the story again to be sure.
- Finally, find mouse and circle it.

espantapájaros de acuerdo a la historia. Puedes verla nuevamente para estar seguro.
- Finalmente, ¡encuentra a Mouse y enciérralo en un círculo!

Activity 6

- Look at this extra material! What clothes can you see? Colour as you wish!
- Take the scissors, follow the dotted lines and cut carefully.
- Take some wool or something similar, make sure it is long enough for all the clothes. And, paste these
pictures from the top, simulating a clothes line!
- Take a picture of your result, and upload it to Edmodo!

- ¡Mira este material extra! ¿Qué ropa puedes ver? Coloréalo como quieras.
- Toma las tijeras, sigue las líneas punteadas y recorta cuidadosamente.
- Toma un poco de lana o algo similar, asegúrate que sea del largo suficiente para todas las prendas de ropa. Y,
pega estas imágenes de la parte de arriba, ¡simulando un tendedero de ropa!
- Toma una foto de tu resultado, y ¡súbela a Edmodo!
