Imperativos
Las oraciones imperativas son aquellas que tienen por función exhortar, inducir, advertir o mandar a otra persona a
realizar algo. Se forma con el verbo usando su forma infinitiva, o base.
Si queremos suavizar el tono de la expresión podemos añadir; “just” (solamente), “please” (por favor), “if you
don’t mind” (si no te importa)
IMPERATIVOS POSITIVOS
Hurry up or you’ll miss the show!! (¡Date prisa o te perderás el espectáculo!)
Put the flour, milk, and eggs in a bowl and whisk until smooth.
(Pon la harina, la leche y los huevos en un bol y mezcla hasta que este homogéneo.)
Please, wait for me here. (Espérame aqui, por favor.)
IMPERATIVOS NEGATIVOS
Don’t be late! (¡No llegues tarde!)
Don’t work today. (Hoy no vayas al trabajo.)
IMPERATIVOS EXHORTATIVOS
Let us observe a minute of silence, please. (Hagamos un minuto de silencio, por favor.)
Let’s take a rest. (Tomemos un descanso.)
Let us not go in, please. (No entremos, por favor.)
Let’s not miss the bus. (No perdamos el bus.)

Sirve como el objeto de una oración o frase. El object pronoun se usa para representar la persona u objeto que
recibe la acción del verbo, por lo tanto el object pronoun vendrá después del verbo.

I’m looking for Sergio. Have you seen him? (Estoy buscando a Sergio. ¿Lo han visto?)
I think Sara is beautiful…do you like her? (Creo que Sara es hermosa…¿te gusta ella?
