Marie: Good afternoon Alex. How are
you doing?
Alex: Hi Marie, everything is great!
What about you?
Marie: Well, I’m very bored, you know,
I’m exhausted from the quarantine. I’m
fed up with staying at home and doing
homework because I don’t learn
anything.
Alex: Oh, dear. I know how you feel, but
you know your home isn’t your school.
Marie: Buenas tardes Alex. ¿Cómo te
va?
Alex: Hora Marie, ¡Todo va bien! ¿Qué
hay de ti?
Marie: Bueno, estoy muy aburrida, tú
sabes, estoy eshausta por la
cuarentena. Estoy harta de estar en
casa y hacer tarea porque no aprendo
nada.
Alex: Oh, pobre. Sé cómo te sientes,
pero tú sabes tu casa no es tu escuela.

Marie: What do you mean?
Alex: You need to know your home is
your home, this means you can be
more comfortable, and you can find
new ways of learning, such as, reading,
watching videos, playing videogames,
etc.
Marie: Oh, I didn’t think of that. That
sounds great, tell more about it.
Alex: You can look for some tutorial
videos on Internet about how to do
your tasks more easily.
Marie: ¿A qué te refieres?
Alex: Necesitas saber que tu casa no es
la escuela, lo cual significa que puedes
estar más cómoda, y puedes encontrar

leer, ver videos, jugar vide juegos, etc.

your best and don’t stop studying.
Staying at home is terrible, but the
truth is that your limitation is only your
imagination.

Marie: No puedo hacer eso, tú sabes,
mi internet es muy malo y a veces no
funciona correctamente.
Alex: Sí, tú sabes, pero si tienes tus
libros y tu internet, solo trata de hacer
tu mejor esfuerzo y no dejes de
estudiar. Quedarse en casa es terrible,
pero la verdad es que tu límite es solo
tu imaginación.
