Nota: Prueba rápida de orientación diagnóstica

para la detección cualitativa del antígeno del
virus SARS-COV-2.

Se recomienda su uso en pacientes que cumplen con

los criterios clínicos y/o epidemiológicos de
COVID-19, esto es pacientes con cuadro clínico
agudo compatible con COVID-19.
El mayor rendimiento del método se observa cuando
se realiza en las primeras etapas de la infección
esto es, dentro de los 5 días del inicio de los
síntomas.
La prueba proporciona resultados preliminares, el
médico debe correlacionar el resultado con los
datos clínicos y/o con pruebas confirmatorias
moleculares (PCR-rT).
