INTRODUCTION

English Language nowadays has been an important role in our daily life. It is the massive means of

communication. Learning to speak English well may be the best way to improve our life. English is

spoken in more than 100 countries.

Learning English can be the cornerstone of success in the business world due to the fact that

English has become a global language in many industries English has emerged as the global

language of trade and commerce in the past few decades, affecting many key aspects of business in

the modern world. 

With the help of developing technology, English has been playing a major role in many sectors

including medicine, engineering, and education, which is the most important area where English is

needed.

In this academic work I will learn the fundamental Grammar of English.

I. OBJECTIVES
I.1. GENERAL OBJECTIVE
Write a composition about daily habits, read and understand a short history.

I.2. SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES


 Learn how to use English Prepositions.

 Learn the Simple Present with routine actions.

 Learn and search new vocabulary.

 Learn how to use the Modals for abilities: Can and Can’t

SOLUTION

Anastasia Mafalda is a young woman. She is from Lima, a city in Peru. She is an

administrator at the KINUAQUE company, and she is twenty-five years old.

Anastasia always gets up at 5:15 am. She goes to the bathroom where she washes her face,

and brushes her teeth. She goes to the kitchen at 5:45 am and prepared her breakfast, then

has a light breakfast at 6:00 am in her room. In addition, she eats a piece of bread, and

drinks a glass of milk.

Then, she showers at 6:30 am, leaves home and goes to beach with her best friend Edgardo

at 7:00 am. In addition, she loves to run and listen to music in the morning.

She usually travels to work by train, but sometimes she travels by taxi. It usually takes 30-

40 minutes.

She works every day from 9:00 am to 17:00 pm from Monday to Friday, and she is usually

together with her close colleague, Edgardo.

Anastasia often has lunch with her family at 14:00 am. After work, at around 18:00 pm she

goes to the market with ten dollars. She buys one orange for three dollars, and spend the

rest of the money on vegetables.

Later, she arrives at home, and she goes to the kitchen, where she prepares dinner for her

mother and her father. Then, she has dinner alone because, at the time, her mother is in the

gym and her father is working. Finally, she goes to bed.

Anastasia thinks her routine is relaxing and peaceful because she works only on weekdays

so she can rest on weekend.

Also, on weekends she usually has nothing to do after lunch. In addition, she likes to take a

nap to prepare for a fresh and lively afternoon. She likes sports and she often participate in

playing games and sports in her neighborhood.

1) I can speak Quechua with my friends.
2) I can manage my time perfectly.
3) I can swim well in Titicaca lake.
4) I can’t cook well because I always burn the food.
5) I can’t go to the cinema in the morning because I work.
6) I can’t eat cake because he suffers from diabetes

David and Kate are going to the stadium, and they need a map. They buy a map at the
bookstore. It costs three dollars. David finds the stadium on the map. It’s near a park far
from the city. Kate wants to take a taxi. It costs twenty dollars. David sees a subway
station behind the stadium on the map. The subway costs five dollars.

David and Kate ride the subway to the fourth stop and get off. They walk to the third
Street, turn right, and see the stadium straight ahead. “I’m tired” says Kate. But we’re
here! Says David.
