What to know about bones
The human body has 206 bones distributed throughout the body. These are distinguished by various
shapes and characteristics, determined by the function and area of the body. These are considered
vital for the human body, being registered as one of the most resistant, firm, and hard.
Fun facts about bones
1; The largest bone is the pelvis or hip bone.
2; The longest bone is the femur, in the thigh.
3; The smallest bone is the stapes, located in the middle ear.
4; The ears and the end of the nose have no bones inside.
5; When death occurs, cartilage breaks down faster than bone. Hence, skeleton skulls do not have a
nose or ears.
