Students will understand the rights, to build relationships based on respect,
equity and empathy, through the construction of a lapbook whose results are

socialized to the people with whom they interact in their daily lives.

 I.EFL.4.1.1. Learners can compare and contrast oral traditions,

myths, folktales and literature from Ecuador and other cultures in
order to demonstrate an understanding of the relationship between
cultural practices and perspectives. Learners can share cross-
cultural experiences while naming universal cultural themes.
 I.EFL.4.4.1. Learners can demonstrate an ability to give and ask for
information and assistance using level-appropriate language and
interaction styles in online or face-to-face social and classroom
interactions. (J.2, J.3, J.4, I.3)
Evaluation Indicators:
 I.EFL.4.9.1. Learners can use simple language to describe,
compare and state facts about familiar everyday topics such as
possessions, classroom objects and routines in short, structured
situations, interacting with relative ease. (I.3, I.4, S.4)
 I.EFL.4.12.1. Learners can employ a range of reference materials
and sources, both online and in print, in order to support ideas,
answer inquiries, find relationships and relate ideas between
different subject areas.

El representante del estudiante debe:

El producto del proyecto 6 (Lapbook) debe ser desarrollado de manera presencial, cuidando la presentación,
ortografía, orden, aseo y creatividad y será recibido por el/la docente del área de inglés al finalizar el proyecto
dentro del tiempo establecido.

 Project description: In this interdisciplinary project called I cultivate my values and exercise my rights, the students
will prepare a Lapbook that will allow them to investigate and synthesize information by applying the contents and skills
through values such as respect, fairness, and empathy.

Weekly Objective: Determine and describe the number of inhabitants per continent, using creativity through the
lapbook technique.

¿Sabías qué?

El papel del Estado en la economía y su participación en el mercado es uno de los temas de mayor discusión
en los últimos años. Unos dicen que la iniciativa privada es el motor de la economía y que el Estado no debe
intervenir; que su interferencia mata la libertad de la gente para producir. Piensan que el mercado, que es el
ámbito donde confluyen los agentes económicos, se regula a sí mismo. Otros sostienen que el Estado es la
institución representativa del interés colectivo, o sea, del conjunto de los ciudadanos, y que el mercado debe
ser respetado y promovido, pero debe ser regulado y vigilado por el Estado.

¿Recuerda?
Un lapbook es un recurso didáctico construido normalmente sobre una cartulina plegada, donde vamos
encontrar información educativa sobre un tema determinado, es una herramienta 100% visual con infinidad
de diseños y posibilidades de acuerdo a la creatividad e imaginación de su creador.

¿Sabías qué?
A pesar de las potencialidades y de la variedad de emprendimientos de la economía ecuatoriana, no dejan
de preocupar los profundos y serios problemas que aquejan al desarrollo socioeconómico del país, como una
excesiva concentración de la riqueza, la escasa industrialización y la falta de capacitación profesional, entre
otros. Dichos problemas constituyen verdaderos desafíos para la sociedad ecuatoriana y sus autoridades,
con el fin de construir un país más justo y con oportunidades para todos los ecuatorianos, que garanticen un
mayor bienestar.

En el proceso creativo de los diarios personales se utiliza como material de, trabajo las experiencias,
vivencias y recuerdos dentro de la cotidianeidad.

Sabías qué?

En la segunda mitad del siglo XX, el sistema educativo ecuatoriano tuvo una acelerada ampliación gracias al
incremento de los recursos fiscales provocado por el auge petrolero y las políticas desarrollistas de los
gobiernos. En los últimos lustros se ha incrementado el número de alumnos de prebásica, básica y
bachillerato. Igual ha sucedido con el número de profesores. Hubo también un crecimiento de los
establecimientos. La ampliación del sistema educativo se dio con el crecimiento de la población en edad
escolar. Ahora existen más profesores por alumno y más establecimientos que hace treinta años. Así, la
población tiene mayor acceso a la educación. El promedio de educación en la población ecuatoriana pasó de
dos años de estudios en los años cincuenta, a más de siete años en el nuevo siglo. La cobertura de la
educación básica ha llegado a casi toda la población. Al final del siglo XX todavía el analfabetismo era
alrededor de 6,8% a nivel nacional, siendo mayor en el sector rural. A inicios del siglo XXI, el Estado ha
redoblado el esfuerzo por declarar al país libre de analfabetismo.

Esta técnica fusiona la experimentación corporal con el entorno y otros elementos para exponer un mensaje.
Actualmente, varios espacios y colectivos gestionan propuestas interesantes que invitan al espectador a ser
parte de esta experiencia artística.

¿Sabías qué?

Vivir sanos es una de las preocupaciones fundamentales de las personas. Por eso, debemos preocuparnos
por proteger la salud. Pero prevenir y cuidar de la salud de la gente es también una responsabilidad del
Estado y de la sociedad.

Recuerda
Un lapbook es una mezcla entre un mural y un juego lleno de sorpresas, en el cual existe la posibilidad de
reutilizar materiales, se le conoce también como «libro desplegable» el cual tiene la misma forma de un
tríptico. En dicho lapbook se trabaja un tema previamente elegido de manera visual y creativa. Este se
realiza tomando como base una cartulina en la que se desarrollará el tema seleccionado.
