Les vamos a hablar de Montería Córdoba

Es una ciudad con un destacado desarrollo urbano, comercial y vial, y conocida también como La
Ciudad de las Golondrinas. Es la capital ganadera de Colombia.

Esta tierra con uno de los valles más fértiles del mundo tiene vocación agropecuaria desde sus
inicios. Su gente, su historia y su exótica belleza, la convierten en un destino que atrae turistas
durante todo el año. Además, posee una riqueza cultural dada por la mezcla de diferentes tribus
indígenas con extranjeros y afrodescendientes que le ponen ese sabor e identidad a la bella capital
de Córdoba.

Es el centro económico, político, cultural y administrativo de la región cordobesa. Es sede de

importantes certámenes turísticos, entre los que sobresalen las Fiestas Patronales en enero, la
Feria Nacional Ganadera, Equina, Agroindustrial y Comercial de Montería, el Reinado Nacional e
Internacional de la Ganadería en junio, y el Concurso del Dulce Típico Sinuano y de Comida de
Semana Santa que se realiza con anterioridad a las festividades religiosas.

Del paisaje urbano, de original belleza se destacan el parque longitudinal Ronda del Sinú,
localizado entre la Avenida Primera que corre paralela al río Sinú, y las edificaciones de
arquitectura republicana, algunas de ellas restauradas y ubicadas a lo largo de la avenida.

Los alrededores de Montería ofrecen al visitante paisajes de singulares características, entre ellos
numerosas fincas ganaderas. Despiertan la admiración de los visitantes las fértiles tierras, los
centros científicos como la estación experimental Turipaná, y planteles educativos como la
Universidad de Córdoba, Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana y Universidad del Sinú.

This land with one of the most fertile valleys in the world has had an agricultural vocation since its
inception. Its people, its history and its exotic beauty, make it personalized in a destination that
attracts tourists throughout the year. In addition, it has a cultural richness given by the mixture of
different indigenous tribes with foreigners and Afro-descendants that give that flavor and identity
to the beautiful capital of Córdoba.
It is the economic, political, cultural and administrative center of the Cordoba region. It is the

January, the National Livestock, Equine, Agroindustrial and Commercial Fair of Montería, the
National and International Livestock Reign in June, and the Contest of the Typical Sinuano Sweet

Of the urban landscape, of original beauty, the Ronda del Sinú longitudinal park stands out,

architecture buildings, some of them restored and located along the avenue.
