UN EJEMPLO A SEGUIR

El cantautor nicaragüense TONY

MELENDEZ, artista dedicado a celebrar
la vida con música, misma que crea
gracias a su habilidad de tocar la
guitarra con los PIES, ya que él nació
sin brazos, también orador motivacional
y ministro de la iglesia católica.

JOSE ANTONIO MELÉNDEZ RODRIGUEZ más conocido como TONY quien tuvo
una conversación con el papa JUAN PABLO II en 1987 fue ¨clave¨ en su vida ya que le
permitió superar su discapacidad de haber nacido sin brazos. “Ese momento me
cambio todo. Nunca pensé que iba hacer lo que estoy haciendo ahora mi fe
continua fuerte” dijo el artista famoso por interpretar la guitarra con los pies, Él se
inspiró a crear una ONG de ayuda y motivación a diferentes personas del mundo.

“No tener brazos jamás será un

impedimento para lograr mis metas
en mi vida” relato.

Meléndez presentó su primer concierto masivo en la explanada sur del ESTADIO

MONUMENTAL de Lima al que acudió con su ¨guitarra y su corazón¨.

El cantautor aseguró que a los 25 años el mismo se decía que solo podía cantar “LA
BAMBA”, pero ahora puede dar un concierto de dos horas, con mucha fe, con práctica
¨.

“La música me da mucha fuerza”, relató.

El artista reveló el compromiso que tuvo con la preparación de los participantes en la

Jornada Mundial de la Juventud que se celebra en Cracovia (Polonia) todos los años
en Julio.

“He participado en la mayoría de las jornadas. He ido con más de 50 jóvenes.

He estado con el papa Francisco”, Relató.

En su presentación en Lima, Tony compartió escenario con el grupo colombiano de

pop rock Estación Cero y con el cantante peruano Miguel Quiñones.

Meléndez presented his first massive concert in the south esplanade of the Lima
Monumental Stadium where went with “his guitar and his heart”. The singer assured
that at his 25 years old, himself said that he could sign alone “LA BAMBA” song, but
now he can give a concert of two hours, with a lot of faith, with practice.
“The music gives me a lot of strength” He told.

The artist reveled the commitment that had with the preparation of the participants in
the Youth World Journey that celebrates in Cracovia (Poland) every year at July.

“I have participated in the mayor part of the journeys; I have gone with more of
50 young people. I have been with the Pope Francis”, He told.

In his participation at Lima, Tony shared sceneries with Colombian pop rock Estación
Cero and with the Peruvian singer Miguel Quiñones,
