1. DESARROLLO CONCEPTUAL
One of the best ways to protect fauna, flora, and water sources, not only in Colombia
but the entire world, is by establishing protected areas. But, what are they?
National Natural Parks of Colombia tells us that in Colombia there are 59 natural areas,
which represent 14,268,224 hectares (142,682 km2) of the country’s total surface area.
These natural areas are classified in Natural parks, Natural reserve, Unique Natural
Area, Flora Sanctuary, Fauna Sanctuary and Road park.
Remember I told you that in Córdoba we have the Paramillo National Natural Park.
Well, I’m going to show you some photos to tell you about something that happened
here in Tierralta.
Can you guess what this story is about before reading it? Try it!
Well, what do you think the puma and the girl are
doing? Circle the correct answer.
and should.
Affirmative statements
+ Pronoun + have to/has to + verb + complement
Es el único verbo modal que
se puede conjugar en I / you / we / they have to plant a tree for an
tercera persona del assignment.
singular. He / she/ has to plant a tree for an assignment.
Negative statements Pronoun +don’t /doesn’t have to + verb + complement
En su forma negativa
usamos el verbo auxiliar 'do' I / You / we /they don’t have to pay to enter the
más 'not', y el significado natural park.
cambia totalmente, pues ya He/ she doesn’t have to pay to enter the natural
no es una obligación. No park.
tienes que hacerlo.
Interrogative statements Auxiliary do/does + Pronoun + have to + verb +
complement?
Para hacer preguntas
siempre necesitarás el Do I/you/we/they have to plant a seed for the
auxiliar 'do'. science project?
Y para tercera persona del Does he / she have to plant a seed for the
singular deberás cambiarlo science project?
a ‘does’.
You must not feed wild animals (Es una regla del parque natural)
estudias, trabajas, visitas o vives.
hablamos, ‘you must respect those rules’ (deber) and you
musn’t feed wild animals (prohibition).
Can: is used to talk about general and specific abilities in the present and in the
future.
no puedes hacer.
