variables, tablas de frecuencias, medidas resumen de

➢ 2 entrega: Intervalos de Confianza, Pruebas de Hipótesis, e
inferencia en general de acuerdo a la pregunta innovadora.

INDIVIDUOS Y VARIABLES

➢Individuos: Son los objetos descritos por

un conjunto de datos. Los individuos
pueden ser personas, animales, objetos.
➢Variables: Son las características de los
individuos. Estas pueden tomar
diferentes valores para diferentes
individuos

TIPOS DE VARIABLES
VARIABLES CUANTITATIVAS: Toman un valor numérico (unidad de referencia) , con ellas se
pueden hacer operaciones matemáticas.
➢Variables Discretas : Toman valores enteros, tales como numero de personas, cantidad de vehículos,
numero de mascotas, etc.
➢Variables Continuas: Toman valores sobre la recta de los Reales (utiliza decimales): Temperatura, edad,
peso de algún articulo, ingresos, etc.

VARIABLES CUALITATIVAS: Hacen referencia a alguna característica o cualidad del individuo NO numérica.
Por ejemplo: Color, Marca, Raza, el numero de la cedula, etc.
