TIPOS DE GRAFICOS –
Variables Cualitativas
Se utilizan para determinar cual categoría presenta una mayoría o minoría. Se puede
apreciar la distribución de las categorías:

➢ PIE

➢ Se recomienda cuando las categorías son inferiores a 6

➢ La forma es de una torta donde cada categoría es una pieza del pastel
➢ BARRAS

➢ Las barras representan cada categoría y la ventaja es que se pueden utilizar varias
categorías
➢ El eje Y representa la frecuencia y/o el porcentaje del total de las categorías

Variables Cuantitativas
TABLA DE FRECUENCIAS: Es una tabla que muestra la distribución de los datos por medio de sus
frecuencias, agrupados en intervalos que representan las clases de la tabla

CONSTRUCCION: Se basa en el ordenamiento de los datos de menor a mayor y se siguen los

siguientes pasos:

1. Se determina el Rango: Dato Máximo - Dato Mínimo

2. Se definen la cantidad de clases o intervalos. K
3. Se determina la longitud de los intervalos
4. Se hallan las frecuencias absolutas en cada clase 𝑓𝑖
5. Se estiman las frecuencias acumuladas absolutas 𝐹𝑖
𝑓
6. Se estiman las frecuencias relativas ℎ𝑖 = 𝑁𝑖
𝐹𝑖
7. Se estiman las frecuencias relativas acumuladas 𝐻𝑖 = 𝑁

Se toma como tallo, las unidades, decenas, centenas, etc,. Dependiendo de los datos , con el fin
que las cifras ultimas – hojas – evidencian la distribución de la variable

el IQ de 39 empleados de un hospital realiza:

1. Tabla de Frecuencias con 5 clases de igual tamaño (IQ – Exp)

2. Construye el histograma de frecuencias
3. Cual clase es la que mas frecuencia presenta.
4. Como es la forma de los datos
5. Interpreta: f1, F2, H3, 1-H3, f4, h2, h3
