La ronda de Uruguay es la octava ronda de nueve hechas por la GATT (Acuerdo General sobre Aranceles
Aduaneros y Comercio) que empezó en 1986 en una reunión en ginebra siendo esa la primera reunión de
la ronda, esta ronda se creó con la finalidad de impulsar la liberación comercial de lo cual 123 países
fueron participantes , la ronda consistía en ayudar a los países participantes a mejorar su capacidad
comercial en términos de exportación e importación, transformando las políticas agrícolas nacionales y
sometiéndola a una normatividad mundial generalmente aceptada, logrando reducir los aranceles y las
políticas que ayuda a la producción y las exportaciones con políticas que no deformaban mucho el
mercado, la ronda de Uruguay fue conocida más por su gran apoyo a la agricultura, ayudando así a la
economía mundial alejando las amenazas de guerras comerciales de las potencias y reforzando el
funcionamiento le sistema multilateral, el15 de abril de 1994 se firmó una acta en Marrakech dando fin
a la ronda de Uruguay.
The Uruguay round is the eighth round of nine made by the GATT (General Agreement on Tariffs and
Trade) that began in 1986 at a meeting in Geneva, this being the first meeting of the round, this round
was created with the purpose of promoting The commercial liberalization of which 123 countries were
participants, the round consisted of helping the participating countries to improve their commercial
capacity in terms of export and import, transforming national agricultural policies and subjecting it to
generally accepted global regulations, managing to reduce tariffs and the policies that help production

its great support to agriculture, thus helping the world economy by moving away the threats of trade
wars from the powers. and reinforcing the functioning of the multilateral system, on April 15, 1994 an
act was signed in Marrakech ending the Uruguay round.
