TALLER PARA DESARROLLAR

1. Me va a dar direcciones usando la siguiente imagen como guía. Yo les voy a dar un punto de partida y
un punto de llagada, y usted tendrán que darme la dirección en inglés.

a. Estoy en el Supermercado y necesito llegar al Acuario, me puede decir cómo llegar, en inglés,
por favor.
I am at the Supermarket and I need to get to the Aquarium, can you tell me how to get there, in English,
please.

RTA: You go down Palm Street and at the intersection with Quenn Avenue to the right until you reach
the corner of the Police Station and turn left onto Lane Street you go up and you will see the Italian
Restaurant, next to it is the Aquarium.

Baje por Palm Street y en la intersección con Quenn Avenue a la derecha hasta llegar a la esquina de
la estación de policía y gire a la izquierda en Lane Street, suba y verá el restaurante italiano, al lado está
el acuario.

b. Estoy en la Galería de Arte y necesito llegar al Banco, me podría decir cómo llegar, en inglés,
por favor.
I'm at the Art Gallery and I need to get to the Bank, could you tell me how to get there, in English,
please.

RTA: Take the Queen Avenue to the right leaving the Art Gallery, go up to the hospital and cross to
the left of Palm Street, you see The Public Library on the corner, followed by the Korean Restaurant,
next to it is the Bank.

Tomas la Queen Avenue a la derecha saliendo de la Galería de Arte, subes hasta el Hospital y cruzas
hacia la izquierda de la Palm Street, observas la librería Pública en la esquina, seguido está el
Restaurante Coreano, al lado se encuentra el Banco.

c. Estoy en el Museo y necesito llegar a la Iglesia, me podría decir cómo llegar, en inglés, por
favor.
I'm at the Museum and I need to get to the Church, could you tell me how to get there, in English,
please.

RTA: You move on Lane Street until the intersection with Queen Avenue, turn left and you come to
the corner where the Hospital is located and on Palm Street you turn right and next to the Club, you
find the Church.

Avanza por Lane Street hasta la intersección con Queen Avenue, gira a la izquierda y llega a la esquina
donde se encuentra el Hospital y en Palm Street gira a la derecha y junto al Club, se encuentra la
Iglesia.

d. Estoy en la Oficina Postal y necesito llegar a la Escuela, me podría decir cómo llegar, en inglés,
por favor.

I'm at the Post Office and I need to get to the School, could you tell me how to get there, in English,
please

RTA: When leaving the Post Office on Queen Avenue, at the intersection with Lane Street, turn left
and go forward, you can locate the Theater on your right, next to it, you will find the School.

Al salir de la Oficina Postal sobre la Queen Avenue, en el cruce con la Lane Street, doblas a la
izquierda y avanzas, puedes ubicar el Teatro a tu derecha, al lado de este, encuentras la Escuela.

e. Estoy en el Club y necesito llegar al Hotel, me podría decir cómo llegar, en inglés, por favor
I'm at the Club and I need to get to the Hotel, could you tell me how to get there, in English, please

RTA: You can turn left when you reach the intersection between Palm Street and Queen Avenue,
continue until you reach the Police Station and diagonally to the left, on Line Street you can see the
Hotel.

Puedes doblar a la izquierda al llegar al cruce entre la Palm Street y la Queen Avenue, avanzas hasta
llegar a la Estación de Policí y en diagonal hacia la izquierda, sobre la Line Street puedes ver el Hotel.

f. Estoy en el Restaurante Italiano y necesito llegar al Restaurante Coreano, me podría cómo llegar,
en inglés, por favor.

I'm at the Italian Restaurant and I need to get to the Korean Restaurant, could you please tell me how
to get there, in English.
 RTA: You can move until you reach the corner where the Police Station is and turn right on Queen
Avenue and move until you reach the intersection with Palm Street at the corner of the Car Park, turn
left on Palm Street, passing the street, after the Library that is located on the corner of the other
sidewalk, next to the Korean Restaurant.

Te puedes desplazar hasta llegar a la esquina donde queda la Estación de Policía y doblas a la derecha
sobre la Queen Avenue y te desplazas hasta llegar al cruce con la Palm Street en la esquina del
Parqueadero de Carros, doblas a la izquierda en la Palm Street, pasando la calle, luego de la Biblioteca
que se ubica en la esquina de la otra acera, al lado encuentras el Restaurante Coreano.

2. Realizar 10 oraciones indicando a una persona cómo llegar al lugar que necesita. El punto de partida
es el Parque a la Vida, y le van a explicar a una persona desde ese punto, cómo llegar a los siguientes
lugares.
a. Catedral de la Inmaculada

From Parque a la Vida, you stand on 48th Street and move in the direction of the street, go down eight
blocks and locate the Children's Park, in front you find the Cathedral
Desde el Parque a la Vida, te ubicas sobre la Calle 48 y avanzas en el sentido de la calle, bajas ocho
manzanas (cuadras) y ubicas el Parque Infantil, en frente encuentras la Catedral

b. Clínica La Magdalena.

In the Park of La Vida, you are located at the corner of the traffic light of 50th Street and Carrera 25,
where Frisby is and diagonally you will find the La Magdalena Clinic.
En el Parque de La Vida, estás ubicado en la esquina del semáforo de la Calle 50 y Carrera 25, donde
está Frisby y en diagonal encontrarás la Clínica La Magdalena.

c. Supermercado Más por Menos de la 10.

Go down 6 blocks taking 50 Street, passing the traffic light on the left, after Triplex La 10, you will
find the Supermarket More for Less.
Bajas 6 cuadras tomando la Calle 50, pasando el semaforo a mano izquierda, luego de Triplex La 10,
encuentras el Supermercado Más por Menos.

d. Centro Comercial Iwaná.

On 50th Street, go down 14 blocks, and passing the traffic light located at the corner of El Muelle
Restaurant, you cross Carrera 11 and arrive at the Iwaná Shopping Center
Sobre la calle 50, bajas 14 cuadras, y pasando el semaforo ubicado en la esquina del Restaurante El
Muelle, cruzas la carrera 11 y llegas al Centro Comercial Iwaná

e. El SENA – CIDT

In the Paque A la Vida, you are located at the corner of 50th Street and Carrera 27 and cross,
advance on Carrera 27 one block until you reach 52, cross the internal lane, (if you go by car) and
when you arrive At the traffic light you go to cross t Avenue o the left on Carrera 28. In diagonal you
will see the headquarters of the USO - Barrancabermeja; When the traffic light is green, you move to
the left, you pass the Higher Normal School, the Industrial Technical Institute and, in the next block
you find the SENA.
En el Paque A la Vida, te ubicas en la esquina de la Calle 50 con Carrera 27 y cruzas, avanzas sobre
la carrera 27 una cuadra hasta llegar a la Avenida 52, cruzas al carril interno, (si vas en auto) y al
llegar al semaforo te ubicas para cruzar a mano izquierda sobre la carrera 28. En diagonal observarás
la sede de la USO - Barrancabermeja; al estar en verde el semáforo avanzas a la izquierda, pasas la
Escuela Normal Superior, el Instituto Técnico Industrial y, en la siguiente cuadra encuentras el
SENA.

f. Max Burguer de la carrera 20

On 48th Street, go down 4 blocks, at the corner of Servientrega, turn right onto Carrera 20, cross 49th
Street and in the middle of the block you will find Max Burger - fast food
Sobre la calle 48, bajas 4 cuadras, en la esquina del Servientrega, doblas a mano derecha sobre la
carrera 20, cruzas la calle 49 y a mitad de cuadra encuentras Max Burguer - comidas rápidas

g. El cementerio y el Aeropuerto.
You cross 48th Street, on Carrera 25, you go until you reach 47th Street, turn left, go three blocks in
the direction of 47 Street, you reach the traffic light and when it is green, turn right on Carrera 28 ;
You advance along this avenue, until you reach the interchange, you pass the traffic light of the AS de
Copas, you get into the left lane and you move forward, and you continue on the road, you will pass
the Yarima neighborhood, The International Carismatic Mission, on 37th Vivero Club, you pass the
Bosques de la Cira neighborhood and on the "Y" on the road to the city of Bucaramanga, take the
road to the right in the direction of El Centro - Ecopetrol on the Troncal del Magdalena Medio and for
about 20 minutes On the way, you will see the Yariguies Airport on your left and diagonally you will

Cruzas la calle 48, sobre la carrera 25, avanzas hasta llegar a la calle 47, doblas a la izquierda,
avanzas tres cuadras en el sentido de la calle 47, llegas al semáforo y cuando este en verde doblas a la
drecha sobre la carrera 28; avanzas por esta avenida, hasta llegas al intercambiador, pasas el semáforo
del AS de Copas, te ubicas por el carril izquierdo y avanzas, y sigues sobre la vía, pasarás el Barrio
Yarima, La Misión Carismatica Internacional, sobre la calle 37, pasas el Vivero Club,pasas el barrio
Bosques de la Cira y en la "Y" en la vía hacia la ciudad de Bucaramanga, tomas la via a ano derecha
en sentido al corregimiento El Centro - Ecopetrol sobre la Troncal del Magdalena Medio y por unos
20 minutos de viaje, verás a tu izquierda el Aeropuerto Yariguies y en diagonal encontrarás los tres
cementerios de la ciudad, La Resurrección, Jardines del Silencio y Parque Cementerio Coopserfun
Los Olivos.
COMPETENCIA PROPOSITIVA

1. Haga una historieta de mínimo 8 viñetas donde haya personajes dando direcciones, es
decir, hablando sobre el tema de la guía.
