 RESUMEN

La presente investigación denominada " Manejo de post cosecha del café (coffea
arabica) y su relación con el desarrollo sostenible en la industria cafetalera del distrito de
Villa Rica, año 2013”, se realizó en el departamento de Pasco, provincia de Oxapampa,
distrito de Villa Rica, durante el periodo del año 2013. El propósito de la investigación fue
evaluar la relación de manejo de post cosecha con el desarrollo sostenible en la industria
cafetalera, utilizando como método la investigación descriptiva y el estudio correlacional
entre el manejo de post cosecha y el desarrollo sostenible, que concluyeron por determinar
la relación entre las variables.

Para ello, se estudiaron los factores que determinan el manejo de post cosecha, que
fueron: procesamiento y estructura empresarial; y los factores del desarrollo sostenible:
social, económico y ambiental. Luego se realizó la evaluación descriptiva según los niveles
de desarrollo (bajo – medio y alto), y su correlación entre cada uno de los factores,
demostrando en ello con alguna medida un valor explicativo ya que el hecho de saber que
dos variables se relacionan, en términos que una influye sobre la otra.
Finalmente se evaluó las variables, determinando la relación existente entre estas.
El trabajo se justificó por permitir efectuar intervenciones certeras a nivel de distintas
estructuras organizacionales en la industria cafetalera, ya que el manejo de post cosecha y
el desarrollo sostenible son temas actuales y existen diferentes métodos que persiguen el
mismo fin y utilizan diversas metodologías para medir su importancia.

Los resultados demuestran que la percepción de los productores en relación al

manejo de post cosecha y el desarrollo sostenible tienen un nivel predominante MEDIO
con un valor de 82.2% y 95.6% respectivamente.

Se concluyó que existe relación directa, alta y significativa entre el manejo de Post
cosecha y el desarrollo sostenible de la industria cafetalera de Villa Rica. Así como
también la relación de los factores procesamiento – desarrollo sostenible y estructura
empresarial – desarrollo sostenible, existe relación moderada y alta respectivamente.

 SUMMARY

The present research called "I Handle of post crop of the coffee (coffea Arabic) and
his relation with the sustainable development in the industry coffee grower of the district of
Villa Rica, year 2013”, was realized in Pasco's department, Oxapampa's province, district
of Villa Rica, during the period of the year 2013. The intention of the research was coffee
grower evaluated the relation of managing of post crop with the sustainable development
of the industry, using as method the descriptive investigation and the study correlacional
between the managing of post he harvests and the sustainable development, which they
concluded for the relation determined between the variables.
For it, there were studied the factors that determine the managing of post crop,
which they were: processing and managerial structure; and the factors of the sustainable
development: social, economic and environmental. Then the descriptive evaluation was
realized according to the levels of development (low - average and high), and his
correlation between each of the factors, demonstrating in it with some measure an
explanatory value since the fact of knowing that two variables relate, in terms that one
influences other one.
Finally the variables were evaluated, determining the existing relation between
these. The work justified itself for coffee grower allowed to effect accurate interventions to
level of different structures organizacionales in the industry, since the managing of post
harvests and the sustainable development they are current topics and there exist different
methods that chase the same end and diverse methodologies use to measure his
importance.
The results demonstrate that the perception of the producers in relation to the
managing of post harvests and the sustainable development they have a predominant
AVERAGE level with a value of 82.2 % and 95.6 % respectively.
One concluded that there exists direct, high and significant relation between Post's
managing he harvests and the sustainable development in the industry coffee grower of
Villa Rica. As well as also the relation of the factors processing - sustainable development
and managerial structure - sustainable development, there exists moderate and high relation
respectively.
