Las estrategias metodológicas del curso integran las habilidades lingüísticas basadas en
el enfoque comunicativo y teniendo en cuenta el Marco Común Europeo de Referencia
para el aprendizaje de Lenguas Extranjeras según el nivel A1 de competencia (CEF).
Los contenidos se articularán en 3 unidades de aprendizaje centrados en los núcleos
temáticos y en situaciones reales de comunicación haciendo énfasis en vocabulario,
gramáticas, comprensión auditiva y lectura comprensiva para afianzar el nivel de
competencia del inglés como lengua extranjera.
El estudiante podrá acceder a cada unidad para realizar la práctica de los recursos
educativos del curso desarrollando ejercicios interactivos bajo tres modalidades:
• Aula virtual: el estudiante podrá ingresar al aula virtual con el fin de realizar
ejercicios de lectura, escritura, gramática, vocabulario y audio que le permitan
abordar temas relacionados con su entorno profesional y laboral.
• Tele clase: cada semana el estudiante tendrá acceso a una clase dirigida por un
tutor virtual quien dará orientaciones sobre aspectos relacionados con el idioma,
la temática vista en el trascurso de la semana, y demás precisiones relacionadas
con las unidades propuestas.

UNIDADES DE COMPETENCIA Y CAPACIDADES
A partir del trabajo personal cada estudiante realizará los ejercicios y la lectura del
material impreso, de igual manera como trabajo de profundización el estudiante podrá
ingresar al aula virtual a desarrollar una serie de ejercicios interactivos que le permitirán
desarrollar sus destrezas comunicativas al mismo tiempo explorar y disfrutar de las
situaciones propuestas para cada unidad. Como consolidación de las actividades,
cada semana tendrá la experiencia de un encuentro virtual con un tutor experto en el
idioma quien le brindará la oportunidad de afianzar los conocimientos y las habilidades
adquiridas a través de los ejercicios propuestos para cada unidad.
Al finalizar el estudio riguroso del módulo, al igual que al hacer uso del aula virtual,
participar activamente de las tele clases y desarrollar el trabajo independiente, el
estudiante estará en capacidad de:

Propósitos de formación:

Ahora continuaremos con el estudio del presente simple para los pronombres conocidos
como la tercera persona del singular que son: He, She, it. Para este grupo de pronombres,
la conjugación en el tiempo presente simple tiene una particularidad por cuanto su
estructura varia a partir de una serie de reglas gramaticales las cuales podremos revisar
en el siguiente cuadro:
La tercera persona del singular se forma agregándole al final de los verbos la terminación
–s, -es ó –ies según corresponda. Revisemos el siguiente cuadro gramatical para

En esta última unidad el estudiante podrá revisar aspectos gramaticales vistos durante
todo el módulo para lograr mayor desarrollo de sus habilidades comunicativas. De esta
