En English for Fun estamos preparados para recibir nuevamente a todos aquellos

niños que quieran pasar un rato agradable aprendiendo inglés en un lugar que les
envuelve en un mundo mágico donde se baila, se pinta y realizan un sinfín de
actividades.
El lunes de esta semana hemos comenzado las clases para todo aquellos inscritos
elaño entero, los cuales obtendrán siete clases más como obsequio. Los que
reserven trimestre a trimestre comenzarán a principios de octubre con un total de dos
horas semanales.
English for Fun, te propone diferentes talleres basados todos ellos en el aprendizaje
con los cinco sentidos:
  PLAYGROUPS (1-3 años) Talleres para bebés que no van a la guardería. Siguen el
mismo formato del taller de bebés, interactuando en inglés durante 2 horas. La presencia
de los adultos no es necesaria. 
 BABY – (1-2 años) Taller para los más pequeños. Sigue el mismo método que los
talleres regulares pero con la participación de los padres y adaptado a los bebés. Es una
exploración sensorial y musical a través de los 5 sentidos. 
 TODDLERS (2-3 años) Taller donde se relacionan ideas y se estimula el idioma.
Actividades centradas en las formas básicas, los colores, los números del 1 al 10, etc.
 LITTLE KIDS (3-4 años) Taller donde se continúa trabajando con colores, formas y
números. Se empiezan a formar frases pequeñas en inglés y a responder preguntas
simples a través de juegos y actividades con canciones, cuentos, cocina y manualidades.
 BIG KIDS (5-8 años) Los niños, con un aprendizaje básico ya asimilado, empiezan a
formar frases más largas y complejas. En el nivel I, se relacionan ideas e incluso
aparecen las primeras, aunque pequeñas, conversaciones en inglés. En el III, comienzan
con la lectura y escritura. Levels I, II, III, IV

 TWEENS (9-12 años) Diseñado para estas edades, perfeccionamiento del idioma.

Taller para aprender o reforzar el inglés por niveles de conocimiento: Beginners,
Intermediates y Advanced. Levels II-VIII
 FAMILY (0-12 años) Talleres donde todos los niños, incluso hermanos, pueden
participar con edades distintas siguiendo el mismo formato que los talleres regulares.
 THEATRE (2-12 años) Se requiere nivel intermedio. Los niños aprenden pequeñas
obras adaptadas que representan a sus familias al cabo de seis semanas
 MUSIC (3-12 años) Los niños exploran, a un nivel básico, la teoría musical, los
instrumentos y estilos musicales a través de distintos artistas y autores musicales.
  ART (3-12 años) Los estudiantes tienen la oportunidad de explorar el mundo del arte y
sus protagonistas. Se trabaja con conceptos básicos del arte. Se selecciona un artista
famoso o una obra importante como el tema del taller de cada semana.
 SCIENTIST IN TRAINING (4-7 años) Necesario nivel intermedio. Los niños
investigan y descubren el mundo de la ciencia a través de experimentos, canciones y
pequeños proyectos.

Westminster, London. Though the actual name of the tower is Clock Tower, it is often referred to

structures in London and represents the city, just like Eiffel Tower signifies Paris. Since its

Big Ben is the biggest four-faced, chiming clock in the world.

The real name of the tower, housing the clock, is 'Clock Tower'. Big Ben is the nickname of the
main bell, formally known as the Great Bell, housed within the tower. However, the nickname is
more popular than the official one.
A survey of 2,000 people was conducted in 2008 that came up with conclusion that the tower was
the most popular landmark in the United Kingdom.
Clock Tower is also been referred to as The Tower of Big Ben and, incorrectly, St Stephen's Tower.
However, the latter is actually the spired tower towards the middle of the Palace, which serves as
the main point of entry for attendees of debates and committees. It is also called Big Tom.
Big Ben was built to replace the Old Palace of Westminster, after it was destroyed by fire in
October 1834.
The clock became operational on 7th September 1859.
Big Ben was designed by Charles Barry.
The clock and its dials were designed by Augustus Pugin.
The first 61 meters of Clock Tower are made up of brickwork and stone cladding and the
remainder of tower is made from cast iron.
The Tower leans slightly towards northwest, by 8.66 inches.
The bell of 'Big Ben' weighs 14.5 tonnes. It is the huge size of the bell that inspired Benjamin Hall
to give it the name of Big Ben.

REGINAM NOSTRAM VICTORIAM PRIMAM, which means "O Lord, keep safe our Queen Victoria
the First".
Clock Tower is the focus of New Year celebrations in the United Kingdom, with radio and TV
stations tuning to its chimes to welcome the start of the year.
On Remembrance Day, the chimes of Big Ben are broadcast to mark the 11th hour of the 11th day
of the 11th month.
ITN's "News at Ten" opening sequence features an image of the Clock Tower, with the sound of
clock's chimes punctuating the announcement of the news headlines. It has done so, on and off,
for the last 41 years.
