DEPARTAMENTALIZACIÓN GEOGRÁFICA
Se utiliza cuando una compañía Usualmente de gran tamaño realiza sus actividades
con oficinas o plantas en diversas zonas geográficas distantes, cada una de las cuales
presentan diferencias significativas en aspectos como la cultura organizacional, y en
las expectativas y necesidades de los clientes y la comunidad sobre la actividad de la
compañía.
Las compañías diseñan su estructura organización con base en los tipos de clientes,
con el propósito de satisfacer de de la mejor manera posible las necesidades y
expectativas de esos, utilizando como estrategia la cultura de servicio al cliente.

Structure: The structure is the set of elements that characterize a certain area of
reality or system.
4. Líder: líder, del inglés leader, es una persona que actúa como guía o jefe de
un grupo. Para que su liderazgo sea efectivo, el resto de los integrantes debe
reconocer sus capacidades.
Leader: Leader, of the English leader, is a person who acts as a guide or head of a
group. For their leadership to be effective, the rest of the members must recognize
their capabilities.
Mission: The term in charge can be used as an adjective or as a noun. In the first
case, it is used to qualify the one who receives an order (an order, a mission or an
order).
Service: Set of activities that seek to satisfy the needs of a client. The services
include a diversity of activities that can be planned by a large number of people
(officials, employees, businessmen) who work for the state (public services) or
for private companies (private services); among these, the services of electricity,
potable water, cleaning, telephone, telegraph, mail, transport, education,
cybercafés, health, social assistance, etc.
10. Procesos: Los procesos son mecanismos de comportamiento que diseñan los
hombres para mejorar la productividad de algo, para establecer un orden o eliminar
algún tipo de problema.
Quality: Quality refers to the capacity that an object has to satisfy implicit or
explicit needs according to a parameter, a fulfillment of quality requirements.
13. Virtud: Hace referencia a una cualidad positiva que permite producir ciertos
efectos. Existen distintos usos del término vinculados a la fuerza, el valor, el poder de
obrar, la eficacia de una cosa o la integridad de ánimo.
Production and operations: The production area has a clear objective: to meet the
needs of customers in the most efficient and least expensive way, within quality
standards. For this, the production plan must be decided according to the sales
forecasts. This means adapting production capacity (limited by machinery, raw
materials and operators) to properly supply customers.
Industry: The concept of industry refers to the group of operations that are
developed to obtain, transform or transport natural products. The term is also
used to name the facility that is reserved for this kind of operations and the set of
factories of the same gender or of the same region (as it happens, to mention
some examples, with "the textile industry" or when speaking of "American
industry").
