‐ Pérdida de dolor y T° del brazo y la pierna
contralaterales (tracto espinotalámico).
‐ Ataxia del brazo y la pierna ipsilateral (tracto
espinocerebeloso).
‐ Pérdida de dolor y T° de la cara ipsilateral (núcleo
sensorial del nervio trigémino).
‐ Síndrome de Horner del ojo ipsilateral (vía
simpática).
‐ Debilidad muscular facial (núcleo facial).
‐ Vértigo y nistagmo (núcleo vestibular).

• Síndrome pontino ventral – Locked in
‐ La arteria basilar está afectada en este síndrome.
‐ Existe destrucción bilateral extensa en los tractos
corticospinal, corticopontino y corticobulbar.
‐ El lemnisco medial también puede verse afectado.
‐ Por lo tanto se evidencia cuadriplejia (parálisis
completa del cuerpo) y entumecimiento.
‐ La única función que se salva en el síndrome
pontino ventral es la de los movimientos oculares
y el parpadeo.

corticobulbar).

a la luz (núcleo oculomotor).

hipoperfundido que puede ser salvado si se
restituye el flujo
• Objetivo
‐ Revertir la oclusión = Recanalización
‐ Restituir el flujo = Reperfusión
