Abstract: The purpose of the following report is to establish the relationship between flow and pressure drop for a
fluid in a straight pipe using a variable area meter (rotameter) and a constant area meter (orifice plate). Second, the
measurement error is found between a rotameter, orifice plate and a venturimeter using the volumetric method. Finally,
there is the relationship between pressure drop, pipe length and flow for an orifice plate and a venturimeter, and the
importance of this relationship will be explained.

error.
