*¿De donde viene el nombre de Vallenfyre?

Hemos intentado buscar significados pero todo apunta a ser un

personal juego de palabras en inglés antiguo, y nadie mejor que tú para explicarnos el significado… algo como Fuego
Fuerte…

* Este disco es un paso más en vuestra evolución, leyendo la información que nos facilita vuestro sello sobretodo
vemos q no hay nada que no haya sido grabado y producido en el estudio de forma artificial, y que habéis
prescindido de cualquier aditivo, triggers, samplers y toda la magia de la postproducción. Como enfocáis la
grabación y cual creeis que es el peor enemigo de las bandas una vez que están grabando en el estudio?

* La formación inicial ha ido variando hasta el día de hoy, ¿puedes contarnos un poco como funcionáis como
proyecto? ¿Te planteas cada disco desde cero incluso respecto a sus integrantes? Escribes todos los temas antes de
compartirlos o funcionáis como una entidad escribiendo cada uno sus temas?

* Luego de escuchar “Fear Those Who Fear Him” mi sensación fue de que es un disco mas extremo que Splinters ,
y enfocado a esa corriente clásica del death metal que siempre ha estado ligado a otros géneros extremos. Como ha
sido el proceso de creación y que bandas os inspiran más? Sabemos que Escucháis muchas bandas death
contemporáneas?

* “A Fragile King”, el primer disco, fue un tributo a tu padre y estuvo basado en su muerte y enfermedad, además
de representar tu regreso a las raíces del death metal ¿Te tomas Vallenfyre como un proyecto nostálgico o como un
proyecto que durará quizás más que Paradise Lost?

* En una frase, como defines el sonido de Vallenfyre? Este tercer disco es quizás más enfocado que los anteriores
trabajos? Siempre nos habéis parecido una banda muy libre en cuanto a estructuras…

* Que te ha inspirado a la hora de escribir las letras del disco? Cual es tu principal inspiración? Os preocupa la
situación actual, el terrorismo, la polarización política? Hay temas como Nihilist o Messiah que creo tratan un poco la
pérdida de valores de hoy en día.

* ¿Ves Vallenfyre como una especie de escape a toda esa música que no pueden hacer cada uno en sus bandas
principales?

* Ya son conocidas tus influencias más duras y extremas y que pones en práctica con Vallenfyre. Te hemos oído
hablar de bandas que van desde Discharge a Hellhammer. Pero partiendo de todas estas influencias, en vuestro
nuevo álbum endurecéis y radicalizáis aun más vuestro sonido. Aumenta el sonido sucio, la velocidad y los blast
beats. Que otras formas aparte de la música os ayudan a liberar la rabia y la tensión?

* El sonido que hoy tiene Paradise Lost es infinitamente diferente a lo que haces en Vallenfyre, crees que esa
conexión os puede acercar a los seguidores de Paradise Lost o tenéis claramente otro público?

* Te plantearías una gira conjunta con Paradise Lost?

* Los seguidores de estos estilos más extremos estamos notando una importante crecida de bandas, canales de
comunicación, conciertos, festivales… ¿Como se ve la escena desde el punto de vista de alguien que la ha vivido tan
de cerca desde principios de los ’90?

* Cuando formaste el proyecto en 2011, ¿esperabas verte en el 2017 ya con tres álbumes y dos Eps? Vais muy
rápido comparado con otras bandas que se toman 3 o cuatro años por disco.

* ¿Como han pasado estos 6 años viéndolo todo con perspectiva? ¿que ha cambiado en vuestra forma de hacer
música?

* Un mensaje para vuestros fans españoles?

 * Where does the name Vallenfyre come from? We've tried to look for meanings but everything looks to be a
personal word game in Old English, and no one better than you to explain the meaning to us ... something like Strong
Fire ...

* This disc is one more step in your evolution, reading the information provided by your seal, above all we see
that there is nothing that has not been recorded and produced in the studio in an artificial way, and that you have
dispensed with any additive, triggers, samplers And all the magic of postproduction. How do you focus the recording
and what do you think is the worst enemy of the bands once they are recording in the studio?

* The initial formation has been varying until today, can you tell us a bit how you work as a project? Do you
consider each album from scratch even with respect to its members? Do you write all the topics before you share
them or work as an entity by writing each one of their topics?

* After hearing "Fear Those Who Fear Him" my feeling was that it is a more extreme album than Splinters, and
focused on that classic stream of death metal that has always been linked to other extreme genres. How has the
creation process been and which bands inspire you the most? We know that you listen to many contemporary death
bands?

* "A Fragile King", the first album, was a tribute to your father and was based on his death and illness, and
represent your return to the roots of death metal. Do you take Vallenfyre as a nostalgic project or as a project that
Will last perhaps more than Paradise Lost?

* In one sentence, how do you define the sound of Vallenfyre? Is this third album perhaps more focused than the
previous works? You have always seemed to us a very free band in terms of structures ...

* What inspired you to write the lyrics on the album? What is your main inspiration? Are you worried about the
current situation, terrorism, political polarization? There are issues like Nihilist or Messiah that I believe deal a little
with today's loss of values.

* Do you see Vallenfyre as a sort of escape to all that music that each one can not do in their main bands?

* Your hardest and most extreme influences are already known and you put into practice with Vallenfyre. We've
heard of bands ranging from Discharge to Hellhammer. But starting from all these influences, in your new album you
harden and radicalize even more your sound. Increases dirty sound, speed and blast beats. What other forms besides
music help you release rage and tension?

* The sound that Paradise Lost has today is infinitely different from what you do in Vallenfyre, do you think that
connection can bring you closer to the followers of Paradise Lost or do you clearly have other audiences?

* Would you consider a joint tour with Paradise Lost?

* The followers of these more extreme styles are noticing an important flood of bands, communication channels,
concerts, festivals ... What does the scene look like from the point of view of someone who has lived so closely since
the early 1990s ?

* When you formed the project in 2011, did you expect to see in 2017 already with three albums and two Eps?
You go very fast compared to other bands that take 3 or 4 years per disc.

* How have these 6 years spent looking at everything with perspective? What has changed in your way of making
music?
