Sea f , continua en una region R del plano XY. Usando lneas
paralelas a los ejes para aproximar R por medio de n
rectangulos de area A. Sea (xj , yj ) un punto del j-esimo
rectangulo, entonces la integral doble de f sobre R es:

Estime el volumen del solido que se encuentra arriba del cuadrado
R = [0, 2] [0, 2] y abajo del paraboloide elptico z = 16 x2 2y2 .
Divida R en cuatro cuadrados iguales y escoja el punto de muestra
como la esquina superior derecha de cada cuadrado Rij . Trace el solido
y las cajas rectangulares de aproximacion.
