COINCIDENCIA

CORAZN

Cuando Suzanne conoci Alistair Cotton en una piscina en 1995, se

sorprendieron al descubrir que ambos sufrieron de la misma afeccin
cardaca extremadamente raro. Comenzaron a salir juntos y se enamoraron,
pero varios meses despus, descubrieron y la coincidencia an ms grande.
Casi veinte aos antes, cuando eran nios (Suzanne tena siete aos y
Alistair tena catorce aos), ambos tenan operacin de corazn para salvar
vidas en el mismo hospital, en el mismo da, realizado por el mismo
cardilogo.
Despus de sus operaciones, que haban pasado varios das recuperndose
en la misma sala de hospital (aunque no tienen recuerdos de ver o hablar el
uno al otro.) Desde luego, no tena idea de que veinte aos ms tarde se
reuniran y caer en el amor con el nio en la cama de al lado. Suzanne,
ahora de 43 aos, dijo: "Nos quedamos muy impactados por la coincidencia.
Obviamente, estbamos destinados a estar juntos."
Alistair sigui teniendo dificultades con su corazn, y l tena que tener otra
importante operacin de corazn. En cuanto l se despert despus de la
operacin, l propuso a Suzanne, y la pareja se cas en 2002.
Al ao siguiente, Suzanne se qued embarazada, y el beb Hannah naci en
2004 y ahora es un nio feliz, sano, que no muestra signos de haber
heredado algn problema del corazn de sus padres. Suzanne dijo: "Muchos
pacientes cardiacos No pueden tener hijos o sus hijos nacen con problemas
de corazn a s mismos, por lo que para nuestra historia asombrosa para
tener un final feliz es simplemente maravilloso"

1995, they were amazed to discover that they both suffered from the same
extremely rare heart condition. They started going out together and fell in
love, but several months later, they discovered and even bigger
coincidence.
Almost twenty years earlier when they were children (Suzanne was seven
and Alistair was fourteen), they had both had lifesaving heart operation in
the same hospital, on the same day, performed by the same heart surgeon.
After their operations, they had spent several days recovering in the same
hospital ward (although they have no memories of seeing or speaking to
each other.) They certainly had no idea that twenty years later they would
meet and fall in love with the child in the next bed. Suzanne, now 43, said,
"We were very shocked by the coincidence. We were obviously destined to
be together."
Alistair continued to have difficulties with his heart, and he had to have
another major heart operation. As soon as he woke up after the operation,
he proposed to Suzanne, and the couple got married in 2002.
The following year, Suzanne became pregnant, and baby Hannah was born
in 2004 and is now a happy, healthy child who shows no signs of having
inherited any heart problems from her parents. Suzanne said, "Many heart
patients cant have children or their children are born with heart problems
themselves, so for our amazing story to have such a happy ending is just
wonderful"
