REPORTED SPEECH

Usamos reported speech cuando queremos

decirle a alguien lo que alguien mas dijo,
Usualmente usamos un verbo de informe (said,
tell, ask, etc) y luego cambiamos el tiempo de
lo que fue dicho de forma directa.
Como usar reported
speech
 Definir el tipo de oración:
Afirmativa
Negativa
Interrogativa
 Definir en que tiempo verbal
esta la oración si la oración ya
sea en presente o pasado
WE EAT THE HEALHTY FOOD – SHE
EJEMPLO:

SAID THAT THEY ATE HEALTHY

 Definir si se debe cambiar la
persona (el pronombre
personal)

EJEMPLO: ALE X SAID · I FINISHED MY

HOMEWORK· - ALEX SAID THAT HE HAD
FINISHED HIS HOMEWORK
Present simple > Past Simple

Past Simple > Past Perfect

Present perfect > Past Perfect

Past perfect > Past Perfect

Will (future) > Would

 Definir si se deben cambiar las
expresiones de tiempo y lugar: al igual
que ocurre con los verbos, estas
expresiones deben ajustarse al nuevo
tiempo del estilo indirecto.
por ejemplo:

A week ago > a week before

Next month > the following month
